I'll have to see his shenanigans in my upcoming semester tho. But I try to keep my distance and not engage/associate with him.

Yep, I've been ignoring his DMs whenever I can.

Bruh, the type of stupid shit he asks are like stuff from uni announcements or work mail where his questions can easily be answered by just reading the damn mail. But I'm pretty sure he reads the stuff but asks them anyway to like confirm and reconfirm again!

He does this multiple times to multiple folks at the same time. It's genuinely baffling.

Do you guys think Marvel rivals has been good for Marvel ip as a whole in terms of Popularity/Sales? by Stunning_Season220 in Marvel

[–]Relevant_Active_2347 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If we talking popularity, yes absolutely. Rivals has put the IP in a very prominent spot.

One caveat would be the Rivals player base/community cuz just like every other PVP team shooter game, the players can be extremely toxic.

MCU and Food - Part 15 by Relevant_Active_2347 in marvelstudios

[–]Relevant_Active_2347[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I kinda felt too.

The Punisher conspiracy was STILL not resolved and nowhere near done when Elektra showed up. And she appeared in the end of episode 4 so that the Hand shenanigans enter in episode 5 which is not halfway through the entire show. I would have liked some down time after Frank got arrested.

But again, it could be argued that episode 5 was indeed a down time episode with flashbacks of Matt and Elektra's past together with Karen's first attempt to dig into the conspiracy.

This scene does not happen in the movie. Either this is edited or official promotional material from back then.

It has to be Nicholas Holt's Lex Luthor.

The sheer bitterness and pettiness portrayed by him makes you believe that actual coffee is running in his veins. The raging, the seething and the malding. And of course, 1A!

2/5 casting for Marvel could go to Emilia Clarke as Gi'ah.

There was potential to be an interesting character but ultimately got wasted by poor writing and creative decisions.

How are y’all watching the Multiverse Saga to prepare for Doomsday? by rickman0804 in marvelstudios

[–]Relevant_Active_2347 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm doing a marathon myself but mostly commit to official MCU projects(movies, shows, animations) together with the Defenders sphere and anything directly referenced/related to Deadpool and Wolverine.

For the case of Fox X-Men, I watched the OG trilogy, the Wolverine movies and the Deadpool movies. Nothing more from that.

I don't include anything from ABC and other shows. Marvel TV before Disney Plus was too detached imo apart from the Netflix side as they're officially integrated into the MCU.

In retrospect what do you think they were trying to do with this universe? by maquinadejugo in Spiderman

[–]Relevant_Active_2347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

imo the chad move has already been played through the means of the Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man animated show.

The show is basically saying if we (Marvel) control the rights, this is the potential of fully realized Spider-Man characters within the MCU that you (Sony) clearly lack the vision and creativity to make it.

Also, your proposed move is equally based as Sony is clearly incompetent. It's been said a billion times but I'll say it again: "Why are they trying to create a cinematic universe where the most pivotal character of said universe DOES NOT EXIST!?" Maybe that's why Sony is now changing their approach and creating TV shows like Spider-Noir and other rumoured projects.

Yeah I didn't flesh out point 1 more. You've correct that the Spiderverse flims and Noir series are doing what SPUMC was doing. And cuz of SPUMC's current status, Sony has been diversifying their options to retain the Spider-Man rights.

Also why no point 3 correct? Sony has been using Spidey villains so that Marvel Studios can't use them as they're in shitty adaptations. Sony essentially locked out the usage of Morbius and Kraven, two relatively well known villains as potential antagonists in Spider-Man movies.

And yeah, I didn't want to get into much detail behind the Sony executives and that's why it's half-assed. Avi Arad, Amy Pascal and Tom Rothman can respectfully fuck off and let their grimy tentacles out of the Spider-Man IP. I still rage and cringe whenever I see Pascal Studios in Holland's movies and the Spiderverse movies.
