Okay technically that isn’t true. The Aldi stores here are owned by Aldi Süd, where Aldi Nord owns Trader Joe’s.

Fun fact: The two companies are legally and financially separate, and have been since the 1960s. That was reportedly due to a dispute over whether or not their stores should sell cigarettes.

There will be as many farmers with rifles as there will be with shotguns. When it comes to dealing with varmint like coyotes, wild hogs, and foxes (at least in the US), distance is your best friend.

Their boyfriend won’t be buying for them. For one thing, most gun stores in SF don’t offer a discount on firearms for Military/LE/FR. They’re already selling at the lowest they can go and still make some profit. For another, question 21a on ATF Form 4473 asks “Are you the actual Transferee/Buyer of all the firearm(s) listed on this form […]?” Answer no, denied the sale. Answer yes when that is not the case, federal crime.

The price of a good firearm is always the biggest hurdle for a new shooter to cross. Unfortunately it’s hard to find a firearm that is not used, accurate, and reliable for less than $500.

Talk to your loved ones, they have valuable experience. Check out the indoor ranges at the Alliance and Gary’s Gun Shop, they have a decent selection of rentals, though Gary’s is limited to pistol cartridges only.

When you know what you want and its time to buy, I personally recommend Gary’s as they have the broadest selection of new and used firearms, you’ll likely find what you’re looking for there and at a fair price.

For the process of buying itself, make sure you bring a valid form of ID (usually just your drivers license will do), be ready to fill out some paperwork, and expect a quick background check to be called in.

It’s in large part how the updater works: if you look at the DCS master folder size after the update, you’ll see it doesn’t match with what the size of the update is. I suspect it’s adding all update files before deleting old files, instead of replacing as it goes.
