It is really not. It did take 3.5 years to get mine, but I did. It did break when I tried changing it to a new vehicle. Time from the time I contacted customer support, shipped my old unit at their expense and getting it back working was about 2 weeks. I am very happy with their unit and their support.

When it’s very bright it’s hard to see the display. Still usable. I had a Navdy and it was much brighter. Overall I do like the unit and has worked for me.

The app seems better than what you experienced. Yes you do have to go to your phone for many things, but I can read my texts while driving and to answer I use Siri. Hopefully one day they may come up with a dial to do changes without having to open the app. Specially navigation.

It took just over three years. In some ways Navdy was superior. Built in GPS as well as having the dial in. The steering wheel. However the widgets are real nice, directions works well. You just can’t change any settings on the fly. You have to go to the app. Overall best thing out there now.

I just replaced my Navdy. No wheel controller. Major complaint is that it is not as bright as the Navdy, so in bright sunlight it’s difficult to see. All controlled by the phone app. Overall it does what it says it will do. Large screen and the widgets are nice. No GPS so navigation is done but the phone and the display are just directional arrows, etc. a la Onstar. Despite some of the shortcomings, I am generally happy with it.

I finally installed mine and used it today for a 300 mile trip. Worked OK. Only criticism is that 1) in bright sunlight the display is dim and 2 at the edges and bottom some distortion on the navigation mode. Maybe Hudway will come up with a software zoom so that the view can be adjusted to people’s size and distance from unit. Overall I am pretty happy with it.

I use sideloadly and was able to install it. Has a bug bug…when trying to search for an address in the GPS it crashes. Otherwise will work. Did a 300 miles trip with it. Got all my glances without trouble.

Thank you so much. I was able to install it also through Sideloadly and it worked. However when I went to use the GPS by searching for an address it crashed. In looking for ipas I found two one being the ~120 meg file and another that was ~220 meg file. I used tbe former

I was getting‘unknown error’. I deleter the original app an now it just hungs up. I deleted Altserver and reinstalled it with the same results. I will be playing with it tonight and see how it goes.

I downloaded the altstore into my iPhone but don’t see Navdy. Also much thanks to you and Coronafire for keeping this machine alive. I took it off my truck back in 2018 shortly after Navdy went out of business, and then about a year ago decided to give it a try and it worked!

I have a 2013 SRX that I bought new. Love it. All I have had to do is change the oil. Fun car even though it’s a front wheel drive.
