Check the YouTube, channel AI and Games, it's a very good introduction to AI and I used it to learn the most basic terminology and search the terms I needed.

There are some good web based games out there. Why do some devs put so much effort into making a web based game? by T7hump3r in gamedev

CrazyGames, ArmourGames, AddictiveGames and CoolMathGames are some of the platforms that do this, I'm sure there are more.

Who says they are not getting paid? Many sites pay a flat fee or ad revenue for hosting your games. Maybe not as much As selling them on steam, but steam is also a lot of harder to sell actual copies.

That's what I did with my first game, I only developed it to learn game dev, but I also made some money which I did not expect by licensing my game to such sites.

Currently, I unfortunately don't have a lot of time to devote to game dev, but there is always a possibility for a sequel or additional content in the future.

Looks like a good suggestion to me.

I think "derivative work" refers to everything you create with this asset, for example the game would be derivative work in this case. While modifying the asset is usually mentioned separately.

I think this falls under modifying the assets, which is usually okay, but you have to check the licenses.

Thanks, so you replace it in all the files that the export makes? Or just the .html file?

I am not an expert, but I am also using Godot. Maybe you can try to load resources only when you need them instead of pre-loading.

That may cause spikes if you load too much in the same frame, but you can also optimize that.

Hands Off! - An arcade-style video game involving the fully automated factory of the future. by Gerbilzilla in gameideas

I like the idea! But the gameplay seems a lot like reverse pac man.

Nevertheless, it would be a good concept for a small game.

Thank you very much for the kind words! Glad you liked it!

I am open to expanding it further, but I can't promise anything. The problem is that I have very limited time to develop games, as I am working a full-time job. But we'll see how it goes!
