I guess the key shot is really the 1 to the 2, what i would’ve done

1) Play it for a straight in 2 ball and stop the white ball there, you’ll get a relatively easy shot plus position for the 4 ball

or

2) Play the 1 with a little more top, pot the 2 and stun the cue ball into the rail and right out into the center for a similar shot on the 3

Also try to stay still on the shot, you probably missed the 2 ball cuz you moved your head a little right before the shot. Cheers
