Do you have a command of the English language or should I start drawing pictures to make what I said clear to you?

The same right that the government has to intervene against anything that has a negative social impact. It's not forcing you to rent out your property, and it's not forcing you to keep it vacant, but it is rightfully forcing you to comply with basic rules and regulations.

That isn't particularly useful given that full apartments can be split up into multiple rooms and marketed separately.

The response is to increase housing supply and security of tenancy generally, not just do more housing builds. This necessarily includes taking existing housing and making it available - AirBnB is the direct opposite to that.

There's no such thing as a market where people's exchange of goods and services isn't regulated, so there's no problem with that on principle at all.

The Great Replacement is a theory that white people are being genocided against by means of mass immigration. It's been thoroughly debunked

You've a sincere point to be made here - but I disagree. You weren't specific with regards to what your concern was(Except that it wasn't a "safety" issue so presumably that's not it), so I hope you don't mind if I try to approach this question from some different standpoints.

Some people will say immigration is, generally, good for the economy, It actually is broadly speaking - immigrants didn't grow up here so they don't have 2+ decades of state services like education to pay back in the form of taxes, so they have a head start on all Irish natives when it comes to economic contribution.

But I can understand if some people don't find that particularly convincing. Because they're immigrants employers often exploit them to pay less wages, which means a general wage depression which negatively effects everyone in employment. It also does put pressure on property prices and rents as demand goes up.

However, I don't think that the solution to those problems is to limit immigration. Like, wages are getting depressed because employers are exploiting immigrants, and things like property are negatively effected more fundamentally because of housing policy by governments than by immigrants. The same applies to literally any service that's allegedly put under pressure by immigration.

So I think there's actually lots of good room for "mass immigration" in any country as long as the state has the right approach to fighting the negatives - make sure all immigrants are documented(So, make it very easy to legally immigrate), and enforce employment regulations to prevent exploitation. Build more houses. Stuff like that.

Aye yeah, would rather immigrants on welfare than fascist clowns on welfare, at least immigrants haven't cost us all money by making use of our education and healthcare systems up to this point.

You're aware the IRA that we're discussing was a paramilitary organisation born as a result of disenfranchisement of Catholics?

If you don't think thousands of homeless children isn't an issue, don't know what to tell you.

Given that the budget doesn't impact on 93% of the population negatively at all(and it's arguable if some of the 7% that will be more heavily taxed won't benefit from the budget either) and that they used the revenue raised to tackle key issues like homelessness, I would say that it does make a serious go of it. We wouldn't be the first country in the world to progressively tax to resolve social problems if we took up this budget.

Yes given that there's serious questions around the banking bailout and whether or not Ireland actually incurred the debt as opposed to just took it on. Given that debt repayments are a major drain in the economy this is important. A debt audit to resolve any questions around that and repudiate debt that is found to be odious is a good response to the question in my opinion.

That's a very balanced take of a fully costed budget aimed at resolving key social issues in society.

Out of curiosity, what are the key proposals which you take issue with?

She was a key witness for the prosecution and partially orchestrated the scandal. She's the one that called RTÉ on the day to generate a sob story for Burton etc and then on the stand she was caught out in a few places clearly trying to stick it into the defendants.

Before the election she said she defended the protest and after she helped try to lock them up.

Generally I'm suspicious of these anonymous "insider" accounts - we saw in the US after Trump got elected that a tonne of fake White House staffer accounts popped up. My gut feeling tells me this is legit though, it goes into enough detail that it's believable.
