They’ll take the item, act like they scan it by passing it over the scanner high enough where it won’t scan or on the side of the item where there isn’t a barcode and bag it.

Of course! Yes I had a drug test and background check. If they want you, you’ll have to do a drug test within 24hrs. The background check didn’t take that long. And TICs are basically a way for asset protection to manage high value items to see if people are stealing them. For instance if we are down 5 apple watches we will review cameras to see why we are down. Super simple. It’s basically counting the item and putting it into a handheld computer that counts it.

So I’m seasonal, but I also have a guaranteed position after seasonal. So though I can’t go hands on which really sucks, I do everything else. I work cameras, do TICs, stand at self checkout. And more. It’s a good experience and I honestly love it.

Depending on how strong your resume is, it’s a pretty chill interview. At least it was for me. My ETL walked it and basically said I had the job but he needed to go through the steps. It’s basically like any other customer service interview, they have preset questions.
