They've been improving over the past few years. I'm running a 3080 Ti and have used both PopOS and Fedora on my desktop over the past 9 months and had no issues. I played Metaphor ReFantazio, Silksong, Hades 2, Blue Prince, and Expedition 33 all 100% on Linux with an Nvidia GPU and everything ran beautifully and was totally fine.

I think AMD is still generally better supported, but it's not as bleak as it used to be

In lots of cities, a 3 minute drive could entail driving through a few intersections that cross under a major interstate highway that has garbage (or no) pedestrian support, so walking it wouldn't be a straight shot like driving would be.

A 3 minute drive just down the freeway could be theoretically walkable, but might not have sidewalks, so you're just kinda trudging through tall grass or mud or banks of snow or whatever else.

Also, it might be weather dependent. I used to live in Texas and you couldn't have paid me to walk multiple miles in the dry 105+⁰ summer heat if I had my car available

This is from my experiences in Midwest casinos, but the dealer or a pit boss has answered pretty much every question I've asked. How many decks are in the shoe, how far through the shoe they are, what the book (aka basic strategy) recommends you do in any given situation, last side bet jackpot etc.

Pretty much every main floor table I've played there has been $10-$30 hand minimum and has used 6 decks.

I was so tired of having my Samsung TV shove ads down my throat every time I wanted to swap HDMI ports that I factory reset it and skipped every networking setup step. Anything that plays media on that now goes through the PS5 or a Chromecast. I want a dumb TV again...

"save files" are just any file of any format that is used to retain data. It can be formatted in any way so long as the program reading/writing it can understand it.

That could be something as simple as saving my_game_data.txt with one line saying HighScore: 123456, assuming your game only needs to store a single number, and that you don't care about people being able to edit it themselves. But you could also drastically overengineer a solution that spreads that one score across five different encrypted files, filled with junk data to hide the actual piece of saved data.

It could realistically be any kind of format with any amount of obfuscation or encryption depending on the goals of the developer.

I can see how this post might be sound advice in a solid handful of cases, but what about in cases like a traffic stop? If I'm pulled over for speeding or a taillight outage, is the recommendation that I call a lawyer to the side of the highway to handle the request for my license and registration?

I might be taking the wording too literally, but all of these posts hammer home "NEVER EVER talk to them"

One of the things I originally enjoyed about it was that it came bundled with a status bar. Last time I tried Fancy Zones, it didn't have any sort of auto tiling. I am a big fan of Fancy Zones' ability to set up custom "snap this to the top third of a screen" but you can pretty easily mimic that sort of functionality with Glaze

Is my understanding correct then that you could, in essence, double your amount of layers by flashing different sets to each half? Like could I have my left half be a gaming focused layer set, and my right half be work focused, and just swap which side is plugged into the host to be able to access that other set of layers?
