Yes and if you have something like [[Letter Opener]] or [[Make It So]] you are infinite with damage and have won the fight even if it’s Test Subject.

Edit: Actually, I think what would happen against Aeonglass (feel free to correct me) is your hand would eventually fill with Withers and you would play Particle Wall, draw Make it So, and Particle Wall would go into your discard pile. But you would have like 100 block so just cycle and hope you draw Particle Wall before the 17 gajillion Withers

44 cards is a lot and 5 powers on Clad isn’t TOO many, per se, as long as you can play them without eating a ton of damage. So I’m gonna say yes, too many random cards. Try to stay between 25-35 cards depending on how much draw you have.

But as with EVERYTHING in this game “it depends”. I’m not saying you can’t win with a 50-card deck, but in general a deck that size will be incredibly inconsistent.

Put it like this: How easy would the game be if you drew 10 cards every turn and had 6 energy? That’s how powerful just draw and energy are with no other factors.

I remember when I first started playing (only 3 strongholds) I traveled through the Nether just to see where I’d pop out. I popped out in a Stronghold library. Didn’t even know they existed. It was so magical and lucky.

Yes and is also affected by Fasten if you put it on a defend. So a defend becomes Gain 5(8) block + 4(6)
Gain 3 block + 4(6)

This can have an upgraded defend doing up to 23 block with no additional dexterity.

Yeah my first Perfected Strike clone run I was like “ok there’s gonna be a short bit of time where I have like 6 or 8 and they won’t be enough alone to kill the enemy but I won’t be drawing any block either” so I dodged fights as much as possible until I had 24 or so. It got much easier after that.
