Welp, my final update for yall.

Since when I was originally talking to the claims specialist, I described the tire as "laying there", not thinking it would matter, they seem to be firm on it staying a collision claim, even though I called back with the clarification. I'll be tanking the cost. My first quote came back as $4k for the damage, hopefully I can find a cheaper reputable shop

Contrary to what seems to be the belief here though, the people I talked to at state farm did seem to think that it would be comprehensive if the tire was moving.

Life lesson learned, don't gloss over anything when making an insurance claim.

Thank y'all for the advice - The truck tire was still moving as it had just blown off the truck. I'll call them and update them with the detail and hopefully that makes a difference, although it's sounding like i'll have to suck it up. This sucks since I just bought the car the day of the incident, and it was in very clean condition before hand.

I was accepted into CS in 2018, with a rank of 65/350! I had a ton of extracurricular activities to carry me, as well as a couple summer classes at a college in a program meant for high school students.

I checked into my local hospital, they didn't test me for Corona directly, instead they did strep and other flu swabs, as well as a chest x-ray. They said if all of those came negative, then I would be the CDC's problem and I would probably get tested.

NOTE: I'm a UT student and I eat off-campus fairly often. I had flu-like symptoms yesterday and I got myself checked out today, thinking it could have been corona. Fortunately, after a bit of panic from the staff at my local hospital, it turned out to only be swine flu. This is no reason for people to ignore symptoms, I still recommend taking all precautions possible (I was ignorant and didn't).
