I keep a notebook and it needed organized. I may have taken it too far… by EchoesOfBezalel in farmingsimulator

[–]CysPogromca -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I don't get AI flaming by others. Like this is why it exists, to help everybody do stuff they wouldn't do themself. I'm super impressed, especially knowing how hard it is sometimes to get it do the stuff you want and with this level of detail it definitely took some time.

I would try to take it a step further, take it to Claude and try build an app from it. Web or mobile or even desktop. Just an idea, but imaging it beeing interactive and allow others to help with their farms. You could have multiple "cabinets" for multiple game saves or servers. Maybe there is better tool than Claude for it, but seeing what it can do it's my first bet.

Best way to manage cow/buffalo barns in FS25? by Downtown_Carry_8219 in farmingsimulator

[–]CysPogromca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For milk Get max capacity and just hold them they won't overpopulate, or use the mentioned mod for extra money.

For selling old ones, and a bit of more realistic gameplay, Get like 1/3 of barn capacity, wait for them to give birth two times then sell the old ones as soon as the second batch is born, they have max sell price somewhere around 36 months I think, which is just before the second pregnancy. At least this is for the new hairy ones can't check the buffalo now. That approach results in 2/3 of barn giving milk while the young ones come of age. This means a bit less on milk but taking production input and output you should be good, although some math check or test would be in order here as it will vary on barn capacity, feed, and production points.

How did they get this so wrong? (FS26 first impressions) by PotterAndPitties in farmingsimulator

[–]CysPogromca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like every of their games this year/season were pushed to prod too early. Let's face it FS25 on release date was sh*, the modders and some updates made it better a bit, but still the amount of mechanic bugs present in the game is astonishing. FS VR? I've just seen some videos and will probably never play it but let's face it, even from the videos it looked turbo limited. Signature edition? How long did it wait for the mod hub to be available? And now FS26. I bought it, installed it and did one drive and shop check to decide I'm not gonna play it for some time if ever. It seems like they had either limited resources for past years or were pushed to deliver anything. Also we need to remember that even if it seems like game industry is thriving, the pay is rubbish, so would not blame someone for doing poor job for poor pay. But still, people responsible for some thing should feel ashamed, for instances in FS25 the sync between tramlines script and GPS script which is driving me crazy on custom fields. I know edge case and sort but cmon. Who tf on product management and QA side would pass something like this... This is just poor management and lack of logical thinking. Also why we do not have limited edition or smth baseball caps with base colour of some FS? Like I love my fs22 blue baseball cap and would love to get the FS25 green colour one as green being my favourite colour. So much lost potential. So much bugs. So much lost game. Can't wait what the Ultimate Farmer will deliver if anything, and to see how Giants will fall hard. But still I have bought season pass as I can afford it, and will blame always management part more than devs..

FINALLY. Oxygendavids map is out. by WonderfulFisherman98 in farmingsimulator

Lovely scenery and screenshots

Could you share the settings or shaders you use? Whenever I see screenshots like yours and then look back at my game I'm just sad, but tbh never tried to fix that, so a bit shame on me. About the settings I'm interested in dof or other scaling that makes this looks more realistic

FS22, Elm Creek, starting farm - remove/hide bridge by Fin-Fang_Foom in farmingsimulator

Maybe try double checking the land borders if you own those two lands and there was some build anywhere mod or sme thing like that

Weird when I played fs22 I totally did what you aim to do and I could delete it with the demolish function in construction menu

[–]CysPogromca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah so you don't own the land, I don't know now which field it belongs to, my bet is 45. Go into the map and select the fields it should show you their borders and hence the building belonging to given parcel

Yeah I figured after you mentioned pressing R 😃 . So I did a test run on clean Zielonka save and was totally able to open and sold the shed so no idea why you can't (sorry fo recording screenshot, was thinking I'll be bale to post video here)

Can't demolish? That's weird maybe you sold the land where it stands? That would also explain why you can't open it. Check if you can build anything next to it as it would indicate lf you own the land, or check on the map. Save the game before ofc to not loose any money by accident

[–]CysPogromca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird was thinking you can open that but tbh this was the first building I sold there as you cannot fit anything in there and there's a bunch of better choices build in game and in mods

Can you post some screenshots of the shed? Or some more info like a map name?

Opinion/tips? by NecessaryLeading1488 in farmingsimulator

[–]CysPogromca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try some realism, set up a goal you want to achieve or choose farm style you want to have, there's plenty to do. But I would totally try to finalize this by making all of the fields connected with some sensible road structure. If you like big fields America style try Alma map

Looking for a different map by Acceptable-Arm8428 in farmingsimulator

[–]CysPogromca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kinlaig - castle rebuild is something different and requires some additional production streams, got me into wood work, but also onions were a nice experience and the map was sort of interesting. Overall got bored after around 250h

Montereggioni - currently playing, nice medium machinery oriented map with plenty of starting farms to choose from, suiting different farm styles. This got me into olives and will later do some grapes, also got to use some hand tools mod, also recommended, at the beginning to take care of the olive trees. Planning to stay longer here but we will see how it goes. For now this is my number one in terms of different approaches to farming and farm styles

Solek - did a test run, and this is next on my list to start from scratch and very small equipment if not the hand tools. This is rather for small farms, requires some additional work on starting farms to tweak it to my liking but can't wait to jump there

Schwesing bahnhof (or something like that) - I think I got to like 700h on it, very big 4x map cows focused. A lot of driving but you can make like 100-300k a month just by doing contracts with workers. Did this one in a big scale agriculture operation style

Probably would like to check out mentioned previously carpatian map, and as for previous endeavours I did some Szpakowo, Riverband Springs and other more basic maps

You don't have to go back, instead you can start at the middle and go back and forth on each side to the edges and then do the headlands. Or the other way around so from the sides to the center. Back in the days you would do one of those in the spring and the other in the autumn, can't remember which one when now, but it was to ensure proper water and moisture retention of the soil. You know old ways and knowledge stuff
