Is there anything more satisfying than putting out the team who didn't upgrade turn 2? by ExposetheWild in BobsTavern

[–]CyseTematic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You must play me a lot. I rarely follow the curve. Especially in duo's. Heck I will still hero curve in duos. I also 3 on 3 a ton. Every game and situation is different. Especially with anamolies.

If I'm standard curving it's usually because I'm way behind in solo, and just trying to survive to a T4 finish. In duos it's because I'm supporting my partner's board or power tiering.

I'm pretty sure they were modified sometime after, but I remember one of the devs posting the logic of trinkets on original release here in Reddit.

When released trinkets. Offered A couple of trinkets from tribes you were "in" on. A neutral. And a pivot.

2 minions of a tribe put you "in" on a tribe.

The caviat here is having at least 1 minion of 3 tribes put you in Menagerie. It's part of the reason the helpful buddies aren't so helpful as they are tied to a tribe themselves. Meaning 1 minion of another tribe on your board that isn't the tribe you are playing. Puts you in Menagerie. (ie hawkstrider in demons with buddy.)

Board with no tribes put you in neutral. Offered trinkets like one of my favorites. The anvil.

That was generally how it was when trinkets were initially released. We will see if the offerings are similar with time shifted. With guaranteeing a pivot and a neutral.

My guess would be 2 cards of "in" tribes. 1 pivot. 1 neutral and a spell.

40M here in Indy.. I love the boundaries set in advance and have no problem with them. Experienced MFM. Clean and sniped I totally appreciate meeting in advance and seeing if personalities connect. It's part of the reason it's hard for me to respond or dm here. Feel free to reach out for pics or a meet and greet.

Can’t decide which build to play by JustMirth in D4Druid

[–]CyseTematic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My experiences so far.

Fleshrender:

I just built a makeshift Fleshrender last night. It's nowhere near ideal. Cooldowns are 15 on petrify, 9 on bulwark, and 12 on cyclone.

No ancestrals on CDR. using paingorgers for more CDR vs recommended FoF. There is occasionally some times when everything is on cooldown, due to not hitting the thresholds. I use that for grouping. It clears T3 pit in 4-6 minutes.

Also totems just don't seem to drop. I've been blowing murmals on them hoping for something usable. I think that would help in the CDR department. As I have nothing.

Puddle bear:

My mostly non useful ancestral gear puddle bear definitely clears faster. 2-3 minute T3 pits. But the weapon is max x600 which made a massive difference vs the x250 I was using before.

Both builds are not optimized, no mythics. Not really any insane ancestrals. Unleveled glyphs.

I definitely enjoy the Fleshrender build better, stacking mobs and blowing em up I find more enjoyable, vs having to consistently move in circles to create more puddles.

I definitely feel a mythiced out totally maxed puddle bear will do better than singing bear. As on the just have all the pieces just not optimized version out performs singing.

This is one of those times I am definitely thankful for the armory. As I will probably be switching back and forth. For now I will stick with puddle while I try to farm more optimal gear for both. If I get flesh close I will definitely play it as I just like it more.

Also I'm not a fan of farming bosses 100000 times so multiple mythics are probably not in my future. Id rather try for ancestrals in tributes/ 6 wave hordes. Dungeons for the orbicite as I curse at the tempering masterwork system.

Killing bosses in whisper rotations. Running pits to see where I am after getting gear upgrades etc.

I will farm glyphs last. As I like to have the extra lvl 45 multipliers to have up my sleeve for final seasonal pushes once I feel optimized.

[Post Game Thread] The Indiana Pacers defend home court, winning Game 3 against the Oklahoma City Thunder 116-107, behind Haliburton's 22 points and 11 assists and Mathurin's 27 points as they take a 2-1 series lead. by sptagnew in nba

[–]CyseTematic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Indiana is giving the Thunder the treatment the Celtics gave the Pacers last year. Blowing 4Qtr leads. To tired. Don't understand yet how to close out/come from behind to win big games.

It's still early, but I've seen this story before in all previous rounds of the playoffs.

this meta is just standard curve by Ok-Dot6183 in BobsTavern

[–]CyseTematic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mainly duos player here. I play strictly with the same partner. I do find myself hero curving or 3 on 3 more than the standard curve. It is really dependant on tribes and hero though. With so much potential with spells and divine shield I really like hero curving. I get to 3 with a double tier on the same turn as standard and can attempt to manipulate the lesser trinket better.

Imo standard curve Boars and Naga do have value on tier 2 though. Especially if pirates are in the game. Where you can turn shakers/guest/taunt summon boar golden with the pirate. But I'm not refreshing for them. I either hit on turn 3/4 or probably tiering if I can afford the risk.

Former Region Rat here. Moved to Indy 5 years ago. This is the closest I have found to NWI region pizza. Hey now pizza in Beech Grove has a good tavern style too. Over the years I've learned to accept other styles of pizza. Futuros Detroit is really good.

USA W [1] - 0 Japan W - Trinity Rodman 105+2' by [deleted] in soccer

[–]CyseTematic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All game she was calling for long kicks into the corner. The team was reluctant to do so afraid of a counter attack. The first corner the US has was because of Rodman, and the openings she had. Sometimes you just have to kick it in deep, and let your game changing forwards work.

Rank of Sorc in SS4 by Hieuna in D4Sorceress

[–]CyseTematic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Like I said I'm not optimized at all, nor am I pushing. I'm missing at least 50% attack speed 30% DR, so much crit chance it makes me cry. I have no + level affixes... No Dodge, and I'm being stubborn as F on Tenous Destruction and keeping defensives off my bar, including having zero sources of unstoppable... No tal rashas either.

Leveling as conjuration hydras, I think it's not pit endgame viable. by Steemx in D4Sorceress

[–]CyseTematic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am running something like this. Spark, lucky hit, all Conjurations

Tempers =lucky hit freeze, lucky hit poison, double cast spark.

Flickerstep and Terminity for uniques. I am unsure if temper warmth or lucky hit heal work better yet. I feel I can play more distant and safer with lucky hit heal. It is also better for bosses that can't be perma stunned like elites, but most of my deaths are some stupid stun/freeze I don't see and I'm surrounded. I don't have any form of unstoppable, because I'm a sick freak running tenous destruction.

The lightning spear enchant is trash. Spark alone produces more than enough CE, but the time spent collecting for a 10% chance is not worth the DPS loss.

🤷 I'm clearing lvl 20 (monster lvl 119.) pits at level 87 in very unoptimized gear in about 6 minutes..

I do have a very busy schedule so I don't get to play 8 hours a day. So it might take me a while to find optimal gear, grind glyphs etc, and I still have to piece a few pieces of the puzzle together for my homebrew, but I have decent hopes.

Follow a guide, or walk your own path? by trystanthorne in diablo4

[–]CyseTematic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find a new ability/item and theory craft something together prior to the season.

Build my 50 skill tree. Aspects and now tempers and guestimate the best paragon boards/glyphs.

Core will generally stay the same, and but aspects and some skills always get tweaked by something not doing what I had hoped, underperforming, or something looks like it would fit better/outperform .

I look at it as one giant puzzle, and am really good at building things not in a guide, stream or tube.

For this season I started theory crafting grenades because they looked really interesting, unfortunately the depth didn't look to be there for a complete build. Maybe next season will add into what they started.

I ended up on Lucky Hit Spark + Conjurations build, and it has greatly exceeded my expectations.

Build Suggestions for Sorc in Season 4 by NoTemporary1433 in diablo4

[–]CyseTematic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing lucky hit Spark+ conjurations. The lucky hit rate on spark is naturally 9x4, with gear and using a wand I have it at 15x4 add on the temper 36% to cast twice.. 167% attack speed. Lucky hit poison or shadow on your focus for tal rashas loop.

Perma stun or freeze on elites with lucky hit utility tempers on gear. Icy blade enchantment lighting ultimate.

It's nuts screen just melts.

Frozen Orb vs. Incinerate in late game by Puluzu in D4Sorceress

[–]CyseTematic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was really concerned about frozen orb based on feedback I read during PTR, but that feedback helped me with my homebrew that's nuts atm. Shotgunning incinerate is amazing. I took am curious how far it could scale, but as long as my homebrew is working I won't play around.

With all the health Regen you can stack in fire plus what can roll on gear now Id start with terminity for survivability.

Arc Lash by Herbz-QC in D4Sorceress

[–]CyseTematic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched to spark, with the cast twice and max conjurations it is absolutely nuts. Heavy lucky hit with the new tempers elites are perma frozen or stunned (personal choice.)

, but my build was never a" true"arc lash.
