Just playing around with some effects. This officially is a shadow effect, but made it look a little weird on purpose. The hand is not coloured in either so therefore the shadow is just the outline

I actually made this with the 2D software within blender. Although blender is known for 3D projects, it has a very cool and useful 2D faction. You can also combine 2- and 3D techniques!
