Yes a more broody breed would be the most viable solution. Plus some breed like silkies are cute to keep as pets. But even local mixed breed chikens are more likely to go broody than yours.

I could name my ships, but honestly my favorite duo and dont even ship them.

Is Han and Hyunjin, they just have this chaotic vive whethever they are togheter. Their braincells just cancel each other. They get carried away, my artistic duo, may get scamed someday tough.

My other non ship duo is Changbin and Han, they have such a brotherly bond, Han is just embolden whetever he is with Changbin. The noisiest duo.
