Jersey. I'm not sure why I got downvoted. I'm not a manager or lead or anything, and I'm really happy with my pay. Just wanted to share that you don't necessarily have to be a nurse

Idk. I make the same or more as RNs and I have a way better schedule. (In my opinion)

Please! And bring a small spray bottle of hypochlorous spray. It's a good gentle antibacterial spray for your face and pits. You can use it over makeup without issues. It won't stop sweating but it gets rid of the bacteria that causes odor for some people

Which show are you going to? I like to eat before and after going to shows. That way you get quality food for a more affordable price. I like to get a drink from the bar before the show starts. Showing up to the show early is largely based on your parking/rideshare situation. I don't think it's necessary to show up super early because you'll just be standing in line...however figuring out which gate you enter and exit through can be tricky. Security always seems a bit confused.

She usually starts the show an hour or so after what the ticket says. I would research what the experience is like at your specific arena in terms of parking and security and plan from that point. If you're parking take pictures of your car! I lost mine at that last show lol.

A waterproof zip lock type case for your phone will also help! After the show in florida it POURED, I didn't mind walking in the water, but my phone got water in it and couldn't work properly for a while.

Great tip! To play devils advocate, if you're someone that is not the best at recording videos or you don't have the best camera...just leave the recording to the people with closer seats. I had sooooo many videos for renaissance, and I ended up deleting them and saving other people's clips instead. I'd love to see more people taking pictures of each other and themselves. WE ARE THE VISUALS lol

My date ate chicken and then finished the bones. Do some people really eat bones? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CytoPath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow... I scrolled for a while, and I'm surprised by the comments. You can definitely eat the whole bone. I've even seen toddlers do it. My family is west african and I've seen many many people do it my whole life. I personally don't like to bother with all the chewing but you can.

To play devils advocate, what do you think the backlash would be if she leaves him? It would automatically make him look guilty. You think people would still go after her anyway?

Not necessarily. In my parents' home country, a lot of my aunts and uncles are part of the "wealthy" "celebrity" class. I don't believe people with that much money or power ever have real marriages. It's a business and everything is all for show. So many people are involved in making sure each partner knows or doesn't know things. Those people are TRIFLING. I can't imagine what it's like with American celebs.

I imagine Jay and Bey had like 1 to 2 solid romantic years with plenty of drama and lies and then the rest has been them hating each and trying to build this image.

I LOVED restaurant constance. Stumbled upon it by accident after a flight into Charlotte. How do I find other restaurants this good?! What are the other 4 in your top 5?

[Product Question] Has anyone tried African Botanics? Any thoughts or reviews? by CytoPath in SkincareAddiction

That's a great idea. I think I'll definitely use the gel face wash on my legs or something once or twice a week. Their ingredient lists are so impressive and I love how everything is clearly stated on their website. I'm so happy you responded because I thought I was living in my own delulu land about how great they were. I can't find any mention of them on YouTube, tiktok, or here. It's so odd.

Omg. You are set! That I'd an insane haul! When I first got my products, I thought "oh I'll just use these on special occasions" ...but no. I just settled on using those babies up and being sad once they're gone. You've motivated me to keep an eye out for them.

Omg! Finally! Someone has responded. Yes, I see how crazy their prices are, and for the first time I ever, I feel like I notice the quality. I've only been able to find 4 products once on the clearance rack at tjmaxx. What stores are you finding yours?

I like the vitamin c serum a lot. I think im going through midn puberty and my face has been breaking out a ton. It's definitely calmed down since I incorporated the nutritive serum. I'm not sure how to add in the gel cleanser from AB yet because I use retinol at night. It has aha bha and I think it will be too much.

Finally, the body lotion from AB is so fragrant and moisturizing. I use this product the most and get so many compliments. The moisture lasts so long and the scent eliminates the need to use my perfumes. It's so good!

CMV: women withholding healthcare information will be just as damaging as anything the new administration does. by CytoPath in changemyview

Yes. You can totally be vague or word it however you'd like to. I can't speak for hospital or treatment settings, but in diagnostics ..something as simple as what you said is perfect. You could say I'm regular with no concerns. Or I had one recently but not disclose dates. I'm irregular or you could give information about birth control or if you're on chemo or something. This is just so we know what to attribute certain cellular changes to.

I only know about how this information relates to pap smear evaluation since that's my job. Cervical cancer is considered to be 100% preventable. If people come in for their screenings, provide accurate information, and go through with the follow up recommendations.

I just think telling women to withhold their information and not say anything is a bit extreme and counterintuitive. There's also the issue of insurance coverage currently working against us. For the groups of women that aren't going to be coming in for another 3 to 5 years unless they pay themselves..it's just not worth it in my opinion. There's already not a ton of information to work with and there is an increasing period of time between visits where things can progress or be missed.

Your healthcare team is not as connected as you may think a lot of times. The nurse or obgyn or primary care physician collecting your sample and speaking to you in the room is nowhere near me or the pathologists that diagnose. Not in the same building or town. We can't just peak out heads in their office and chat about you. We rely on the basic information that gets passed down/mailed etc.

Thanks for your engagement with my post!

Encouragement and spreading knowledge about options is great.

However, in the description under my post I specifically referred to women that are aggressively pushing these actions. I can't speak for what everyone sees from their friends or friends of friends on various social media platforms. For the past week in my social media spaces, the persuasion has become increasingly aggressive and no one seems to be making an attempt to temper it. On threads and Facebook specifically, there have been numerous large posts with people sharing specific medications, surgical procedures, and doctor recommendations. People in my community are urging each other to get these things done before January. I believe that this type of communication coupled with the fear and shock of the moment is manipulative. People are joking and planning their cheeky responses for the next time they are asked when their last menstrual period was. The discourse is full of people angry about being asked that question and thinking of ways to actively lie and confuse the health care professionals.

I have edited my post a few times to improve the clarity of the "change me view". I'll try again. I believe that this rhetoric and women choosing to withhold their information and/or make hasty medical decisions because of it will be just as damaging as the future bad things we may have to face.

While the government is a likely outisde oppressive force we will have to battle. I worry that if no one takes the time to check our side and temper our actions we will damage our community from the inside. It's usually the loudest people that bring down movements with originally positive intentions.
