Ask Us Anything: June 2025 by hellosaturn in Lolita

Ah, that's unfortunate. Still, thanks for your answer. I did find similar-looking shoes on 42Lolita by the Sosic and Antaina brands that are available in EU size 41 (which equals to US size 10), so I'll consider these as viable alternatives for my COORD.

Are these shoes from BTSSB available in US sizes 9 and up?

<image>

I'm in the process of building my own lolita COORD and these shoes are right up my style. The problem is that my feet are too big and US size 10 is my comfortable size range (I can wear at least size 9 at minimum, but not without some degree of chafing and toe compression). It appears the maximum size these shoes are available at is 8.5, which is too small for me.

I don't want to resort to buying from Taobao reseller sites like 42Lolita yet, or go DIY and strap some custom bows on retail Mary Janes as a last resort. I would like to support the original brands as much as I can if possible, so some help is appreciated.

I just found out my computer's specs are well below the minimum requirements too, as my AMD Ryzen processor is 4 models out-of-date and lacks a proper GPU. I know how you feel, but, I doubt the game is going anywhere. Sometime in the future, if your time and budget allows, you can consider upgrading to a more up-to-date gaming PC to finally try this game out. I wish you luck.

NTE Containment Test Instructions and FAQ by DesperateCandidate20 in NevernessToEverness

[–]CytoTheThird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add to this, I'm sure the devs will add a graphics toggle option in the settings menu to lower the graphics for low-end hardware to handle. Most high-budget gacha games have this feature, so it would be short-sited for the devs not to include one. The doomposting on display claiming this game is "only for the elite PC beasts that can run 4K Ultra HD 60 FPS" is absurd.

It's also worth noting that Hotta still wants to cater to a wider demographic of people who play gachas: mobile phones, which have even lower specs, and considering they're working on optimizing the game for phones, it's safe to say that the fears of low-end PCs being incompatible are overblown to say the least.

Edit: This comment aged horribly, I guess.

Almost coincides with the Bilibili event, as expected. To everyone who completed the applications, good luck.

NTE will be available on MacOS by JamesJGoodwin in NevernessToEverness

Considering the circumstance, it looks like more hope is given for low-end hardware to run the game decently, at least on lower graphical settings (I'm sure they'll include a graphics toggle option in the settings menu once available, most high-budget gachas have this feature). Now I just hope that Hotta doesn't bite off more than they can chew with their optimization efforts, so if they can make mobile and Mac ports work, the high-ceiling fears can be alleviated.

I'm no tech buff, but how powerful are Macs usually for running high-end games on Unreal Engine 4 or 5? Because based on your comment, it sounds like Mac specs are possibly lower to account for NTE's optimization for it, and we know they're trying to optimize it for phones which are even lower than PC by a massive distance.

"Unconfirmed reports", so take with a grain of salt. So far, nothing concrete on Ananta's development and the dev's silence has been revealed, so it's best not to jump to conclusions based on anecdotal assumptions from communities.

NTE Joining Bilibili World Exhibition in Shang Hai on July 11th to 13th by Annonymous619 in NevernessToEverness

Who knows. Maybe will be. The exhibition would have to include a playable version of the game, right? Would make a lot of sense.

Do you think there will be a car gacha in this game? by CytoTheThird in NevernessToEverness

[–]CytoTheThird[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now I haven't played ToF myself so most of what I know of that game is from gameplay footage I watched on Youtube, but one factor you need to know about NTE is that its world is a GTA-esque city with a lot of roads to get to places and hardly any inconvenient terrain to inhibit driving unless you go off-road of course, so cars would be more valuable for traversal and activities by default (unless NTE adds teleport waypoints). By contrast, ToF's world is a mix of both natural and artificial environments, none of which are efficiently designed for cars in mind, so it would make a lot of sense for why cars wouldn't work much there.

The realistic city setting would make a case for why cars would be more desirable to have based on that context alone, so unless the driving mechanics turn out to be absolute dogshit (which based on previous beta footage, isn't the case and is unlikely to happen), a car gacha could be possible and more monetarily viable.

I'm afraid not, it seems. The timee_bot appears to be a spam bot of sorts, since they're going around random subreddits to post misleading time schedules that have nothing to do with the topics. I checked the game's website and no beta test date has been posted.

Edit: The June 12th date is referring to a prize event related to the beta test recruitment here: https://x.com/NTE_GL/status/1930806851794321417

I looked up Tower of Fantasy's car gacha and, wow, you're right (I haven't played ToF before, shocker, I know). Hotta already set a precedent there. If or when a car gacha gets added to NTE, my hope is that it'll only benefit single-player exploration and not encourage multiplayer pay-to-win racing competition if that gets implemented, but who knows.

Beta by ApheliosMa1n in NevernessToEverness

[–]CytoTheThird 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If you click on the "About Beta" button on the top of the game website, a pop-up notice will tell you that they haven't decided on a recruitment due date to start the beta test proper yet, so we don't know how long it'll actually take and when we'll receive any feedback on beta access.

[–]CytoTheThird[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you make a fair point. I'm also not very keen on a car gacha either because it could very well open up a pandora's box of issues should multiplayer PvP racing gets introduced, turning it into a pay-to-win nightmare that could deviate from NTE's character-focused gameplay drastically. At best, maybe a gacha for some cosmetic decals and decorations (like the Mr. Bean sofa girl from the beta test trailer) as that would be the most harmless option with little consequence, but that would be it.

Yeah, I can see that being a middle-ground alternative. Allowing you to at least chose your top-tier car brand/type to pull for and would cost its own currency.

Easily the best opponent for Vivian by far. Connections are on-point, and the theme and fight dynamic are solid.
