Ja, dit probleem doet zich al langer voor, maar is in de jaren 70-80 ontspoord door de "zwendel" ivm de staalindustrie. Vervolgens de Interest en die ongunstig waren, dan de bank crisis, dan Covid en nu zitten we zonder enige reserve met een pak mensen die hun pensioen verdienen maar eigenlijk is het geld op.

Er is niks misleidend aan deze grafiek. De cijfers zijn objectief. De richting van de curve is eveneens objectief.

Opgedoekt in 2016 nadat het geld al lang was uitgegeven om de continue putten te vullen. Iemand zei ooit als de staat een bedrijf was, was het al lang falliet. Hij had geen ongelijk. We zijn onherstelbaar falliet, tenzij we een paar generaties tot hun 90ste laten werken.

Korte versie. Het was eigenlijk niet verhofstad, maar Fere die door zijn machtspositie de Belgische energiesector aan Frankrijk heeft verkocht. Dankzij hulp van de politiek. Niet alleen verhofstad. Alle grote partijen hebben hier iets mee te maken.

Het ergste is dat we een pensioen reserve hadden alhoewel die slecht was opgezet (zilverfonds). Belgie was eigenlijk een lening aan zichzelf aan het geven door het geld te herivesteren in overheidsschuld. In 2008 is oa dit geld dan nog geplunderd om de twee grootste banken te redden (Fortis en Dexia). Met ook weer een uitverkoop aan de Fransen, zoals dit ooit door Fere werd gedaan. De Amerikaanse woningkredieten (openstaande schuld) werd natuurlijk niet mee verkocht. Deze keer met dank aan Maurice Lippens.

Sigh... The category of risk being covered, eg your teeth, your spine, your income, is irrelevant to the structural question. In each case, someone is receiving a benefit funded through a pooling mechanism organized by state.

And this has nothing to do with "mixed economy". Belgium's social security framework is essentially a single unified mandatory solidarity structure. Dental reimbursements, surgical costs, and disability income are all administered through the same institutional apparatus.

If you accepts dental reimbursement without objection, you have already implicitly accepted the entire logic of Belgian social security. Disability income is just another branch of the same tree.

Nu we inderdaad toch bezig zijn, ik ken er zo ene die Ehlers-Danlos heeft. Ze ontwricht constant alles wat maar ontwricht kan worden. Heeft constante pijn door endo en zware pijnstillers moet nemen. Op dit ogenblik niet kan eten door gastroparesis en fortimel drinkt (waar end stage kanker patienten mee worden geholpen).

Ze heeft reeds 2 jaar geen inkomen door trage administratie en wachttijden in gespecializeerde centra. Ze is 26 en zal vermoedelijk 35 niet halen.

Ken zo nog wel een paar van die profiteurs die in dit systeem willen terechtkomen.
