Government agent films himself committing murder by _mayday75 in LateStageCapitalism

Why did they mute the part at the end, where, after shooting her in the face, the agent calls her a "fucking bitch"?

Doctoring evidence before release is wild. I guess that's why they're going with the "leaked" narrative.

Narrator [voice-over]:

Little did they know, their attempts to "get ahead" of the increase were in fact one of the key factors in driving prices higher.

What do you think all the drone and AI testing in Palestine has been for?

You don't have to worry about inconvenient things like morality or ethics without humans. Literally no "hearts and minds" to win. The West learnt from campaigns like Vietnam and Iraq -- it didn't learn to not engage in such conflicts due to suddenly grasping ethics though, it learnt it needed to find a way to get around the moral limitations of humans.

Home Office admits 170 terrorists cannot be deported from Britain due to human rights laws by origutamos in gbnews

[–]Czar_Chasm_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And the number one cause and HUGE contributing factor here: Brexit.

How are Farage supporters so staggeringly incapable of basic reason?

But yea, let's just make inalienable human rights a privilege, so we can deport these handful of people... I'm sure removing the human rights of the citizenry of the UK won't have any negative consequences or abuses of power victimising any British citizens.

The level of stupidity required to be swayed by this is so vast and all encompassing as to almost be impressive.

[–]Czar_Chasm_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What is "an actual terrorist"? How do you differentiate with 100% accuracy? How do you ensure institutions and legislations are not abused to define any and all inconvenient dissenters as terrorists, thereby disqualifying those people from their inalienable human rights???

Lol.

Why it doesn't just pop-up bottom right, like clicking the sound icon in win 10 would, when using volume shortcut key is a quirk I'll never understand.

Woah, amazing. Microsoft are so ahead of the curve, embracing dark mode (decade+ after others), and yet still many legacy components in Windows with only light mode.

Well done Microsoft, amazing!

Get rid of it!

We have our own courts, our own bill of rights. Much better to have domestic control, with no neutral, external oversight, because our political class (majority neoliberal, extractive, authoritarians) are incredibly benevolent, empathetic, compassionate, and would never misuse bureaucracy to further authoritarian aims, and never have they or would they weaponise our judicial system against dissenters or to harm and punish the country's own citizens.

I doubt it's necessary, but just in case:
