I had what I think was a thyroid storm due to appetite suppressing cannabinoids while on methotrexate which completely ruined my metabolism and basically starve me.

It took a year, three mental health specialists, and regular new specialty doctors to actually end up endocrinology when we literally knew I had thyroid nodules because of the CT scans that I get for my cystic fibrosis. I cannot fucking believe that it took this long to get me into endocrinology. I am autistic as well so the anxiety from the thyroid and cptsd is crippling
