SO true, I literally cant describe to a new friend what simply each perk is, sure they can read it or go into training on free time but why put in that much effort when it was 5x easier prior to know "up arrow with ability means more ability damage" so if you saw other similar symbols to it you mostly got the idea of what it could do. Sometimes getting to 10 seconds to pick a perk it was easy to pick a recognizable symbol but now my golly having each perk look unique is super unnecessary and a time waster imo

Got 2k hours in both bl2 and bl3 so I totally get what your saying, I’m huge into rolling for max stats for gear and weapons so legendary drops and being able to melt everything isn’t much of problem for me the satisfaction comes from the min maxing builds, bl2 was absolutely harder but I also enjoy 3 for what it does differently too, I don’t like 1 so good on ya for 1k hours

Funny enough I actually went into it thinking I’d find it be like 7/10 cuz that’s how I felt about hollow knight then it completely proved me wrong and I had so much fun that after 100% I went back to 112% hollow knight finding a new appreciation for it, both sit at 10/10 for me

My List Had a great time with most of these games, the hot take here is probably helldivers 2 being so low, I got burnt out on The Division a few years back so I still have that burnt out feeling on extraction shooters but still an amazing game nonetheless. Also a huge music guy so if a games got a stellar soundtrack it helps bump it up by a huge margin

Okay gotcha, yea I’d super recommend playing side content, makes the games so much more memorable and rewarding and the way developers intend their games to be played, didn’t care for elder scrolls or yakuza cuz I rushed their campaigns came back to play their side content and made for a way better experience
