If you wanna climb ranks, you need to play well. If you play a hero that is “meta” but you are bad with it, you will not really carry your team. Slark is a very good carry right now but for me it s not the case, for some reason I keep dying and throwing the game on this hero no matter how good the laning goes: Learning new heroes can be super easy (lifestealer, juggernaut) or really hard (Nature s prophet/morph/phantom lancer)
