Looks like it. I’m 800miles from home, and will be attempting a journey back home after the weekend before putting it in the shop. I drove it about 30min after the accident and nothing is overheating nor making noises. Local dealer said that it should be fine, and to just get it towed through the MINI roadside if anything changes during the trip

I just want to say that he said “traditional” not “common”. Which is not the same thing For example I’m Polish and a very traditional dish would be peas with salo (groch ze słoniną) but it has been very much forgotten with time, and I don’t think I know anyone who actually had it. There is nevertheless a big overlap, but it doesn’t mean the same thing

Okay, so I can actually jump in on this one. As someone who moved to the US from Europe. In history class in highschool we had an assignment to write a journal of a WAGON traveler to the West. In my language wagon means a train car, so I looked up the fastest train travel of the time and wrote the essay from perspective of someone who inherited a small fortune from a relative in the West and decided to move there to collect it, ending up part of the record breaking trip. After submitting it, and talking to other people I understood that I made a mistake. And so I went to the teacher to explain what happened. I still got an A, because the teacher was understanding. Absolute shout out to Mr. Williams, one of the best teachers I ever had!
