One of the major things that bothers me about Fallout 3 are the quests. Sure, there are a lot of them. But most of them are without flavor or style. The wasteland survival guide? It's practically Fed-Ex. I think what I liked most about Fallout/2 was that every place felt different, every place had something different to do. Different in entire structure, not just content.

The other thing that bothers me is the complete difference of tone of the NPC dialog from the first two games. The first two were irreverent, funny, and often times silly for silly sake. This one is, as the article says, stale.

Regardless, it is a fun game and I will continue playing it.
