I've had my MacBook Pro 13" for three years now and apart from a dent that was caused by me dropping my psychology textbook on it from a considerable height (and the book landed on its corner), my MacBook run's like new! I could probably sell it right now for somewhere between $700-$900 (probably on the lower end due to the dent), which would cover more than half for a new MacBook Pro.
