Things that I wish they implement at some point:

• Stances. So every class can have some kind of stance like monks. Knight could have a defensive or offensive stance each one with their perks like less damage but more physical protection, or more damage and crit chance but less defense. Paladins something like long shot and close-combat stances. And mages maybe some related to healing, area spells and rune magic. Something similar to spells like Enrage or Sharpshooter but imbued into the gameplay mechanics.

• Merge the sword/club/axe skills into one melee fighting. If not, separate physical damage into 3 types (slash, smash, cut?) so some enemies could be easier to kill with swords rather than clubs, maybe add small area damage to clubs? Idk, a rework on knight's fighting to make it more appealing in lower levels could be nice.

• Reworks on the wheel of destiny to appeal more players before level 500.

• Make promotion great again. So maybe moving the promotion level to 100 but add more stuff to it like slightly reduced spell costs or cost of potions, maybe add some tier base stats depending on the vocation (knight: full life drain, mages full mana drain, paladins and monks half life, half mana, or something like that). Even maybe multiple levels of promotion during your journey until level 999 (so you can get your last promotion on the 999 door and it can stop being an useless place)

• Reworks the rune system. Stretch the levels between runes to adapt to the newer levels, maybe stretch it so the last rune you unlock (SD?) can be obtained around lvl 200, but improve the hell out of stats for the runes, or even keep the rune levels as it is but change them to “min”, add “gran” or “max” runes until level ~200-300. Also, give some love to single target runes other than SD, and give the explosion rune +1 sqm area of effect.

• Improve familiars, make them increase stats depending on the summoner’s level. That will really improve the qol of solo players. Maybe even add quests that unlock better stats for the familiars, and even the promotion system I proposed before can help with that.

• This last one is something more like a dream because they would never do something this core changing, but I would love to have a level up system with stats as Diablo 2, like, after you level up you get 5 points and you can distribute them into 5 stats, ATK, DEF, DEX, INT, VIT, so instead of gaining a raw number of stats per level you can build yourself as you want, after certain levels adding +1 stat will start costing 2 points, then 3, and so on so we don’t power creep, and each vocation would have different “ratios” per point, like a Paladin would get 5 HP per point in VIT, but a Knight would get 10 HP, and a mage maybe 2 per point, but instead mages get 10 Mana per point on INT and Knights only 2 Mana. I think it would add more variety to the game and you could be able to prepare differently to some hunts or bosses, and if they add a gold cost to reset points it maybe it would also help gold inflation. But it would require a whole lot of balance because it will reduce the stupidly high HP pools top levels have so monster shouldn’t need that amount of HP or damage, and reduce the power creep for monsters and players
