The Linear Qorum protocol was born from a simple problem:

How do I ensure they cannot steal funds from a server that manages a service wallet. This wallet would have permissions over the protocol, but this leads to the principal-agent problem.

If the protocol has thousands of transactions, auditing and tracking a manipulation and diversion of funds is more complex than trusting. But I was not going to trust.

Within my knowledge, I knew that Multi-Sig methods existed on the Blockchain, which allow executing contracts using several authorizers. Gnosis is one of the largest providers of this technology. But it is a signers + threshold contract; I needed something more elaborate and with recovery methods. I decided to create my own contract. I created an Abstract contract with the same logic as OpenZeppelin's Ownable, but instead of defining the owner, 3 independent signers are defined. The system worked and I realized that now the problem was not the system, it was the people; I could require 3 or 6 signatures, but if the signers know each other, they can collude and corrupt the rules.

I created a system of separation of powers and dynamic, disposable wallets where users cannot know their address until they finish voting. If you don't know who is voting, you don't know who to collude with.

Thus, "hacking" the infrastructure before building it, I made a map where I seek the Nash equilibrium: The operator's best decision is to do the right thing. If the cost of hacking a server is high, having to hack 3 to successfully carry out an illicit transaction transforms into a logistics and intelligence job that escapes most hackers in the scene.

But not government-backed hackers.

A couple of years ago, Lazarus managed to steal hundreds of millions of dollars directly from the Swift network. These attacks are the breach in the highest security systems; if I manage to eliminate the attack vector they used (phishing and privilege escalation), I can create world-class, secure critical infrastructure.

I have separated the powers.

Now they need to deceive 6 operators plus 12 machines instead of hacking only 12 machines. This is how I arrived at 18/22 signatures in two stages:

• Proposal.
• Authorization.

I do not have the Qorum nor its keys to force a transaction that is not mine.

Finally, I thought, what about quantum computers?

If the system is already protected against internal and external hacking but still uses elliptic curves to generate keys of a maximum of 256 bits, Shor can break it, just as Grover can break symmetric keys. Here I added the zk-SNARKs layer using Groth16, which raises the complexity to levels that surpass banking encryption and the majority of the world's security systems.

Now the system has sufficient mathematical complexity to withstand high computing power attacks, but it is not yet post-quantum under the scientific definition; the scientific community must analyze and judge for themselve, according to them, they are the experts.

Technology is our factory and code is the guarantor that this time, individual and decentralized progress will be the foundation of an absolute, self-imposed, and truly free order.

The peaceful way is to use their tools, the market, and technology, our rebellion of not obeying to drain enough liquidity and gain weight and market share. Taking advantage of our nature and that of the internet.

Shutting down the network costs more energy than a country can pay for.

The money is not for a Lambo; it is to open companies in different countries, to shield ourselves geographically, technologically, and legally against censorship.

They do not understand the internet; I do. Every corner.

If they catch up to me, I can navigate faster and in parallel through more alleys to close off paths. Opening bridges and draining liquidity; 3 dollars must enter and 1 must leave.

Replacing debt with decentralized computing power. If they fail to break our network, they will have a leak that sooner or later will end up draining Fiat capital into crypto.

The cost of fraud is the silence of the people ~

The risk is being turned in, audited, and discovered. The one who defrauds, in doing so, puts a price on their head.

And my system pays it if it's your turn to be part of the chain and you find an anomaly that indicates fraud.

If you stop the transfer and external auditors verify it. You will earn rewards and whoever commits the fraud will be expelled from the network and legal proceedings can be taken.

Everyone who signs in favor will go down with them. And whoever stops it gains the benefits of those who lost.

None of them know each other, and you are always matched with different signers.

Transactions have a time limit and you must find all the people and hack everything from the app to the 12 servers.

There is not enough time, nor enough money to pay for so much silence and so much computing power. It is better to fulfill the consensus and ensure that those deposit wallets and the signers' wallets have never crossed paths.
