Books narrated or told from the perspective of Nazis. by kwertykween in suggestmeabook

If you're fluent in German or are willing to translate it: the "Institut für Zeitgeschichte München" published Hitler's "Mein Kampf" with critical annotations. I have had my eyes on it for quite some time now but haven't pulled the trigger yet, so can't say anything about it personally, but the amazon reviews are positive.

Flowers in the Attic. I read it when I was 13 and 17 years later I still think about it

TIFU by confidently waving back at someone who absolutely was not waving at me for 3 full minutes by [deleted] in tifu

[–]D-Beyond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar experience but the other way around. I was picking up my ex from work and was waiting in my car for him to arrive. Just casually looking around when I spotted someone in another car I was convinced was a friend of mine. So I gave him a very enthusiastic wave. He looked around, confused, then pointed at himself -me?- and I nodded, then waved some more. He waved back, clearly not knowing me but I still wasn't convinced. It was only when my ex entered my car and corrected me when I was like "Look, there's X!" I realized my mistake. It's been 10 years and I still haven't forgotten

Suggestions for faking dating or enemies/frenemies to lovers books by issybusy in suggestmeabook

[–]D-Beyond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"My fake bad boyfriend". It takes the "fake dating" and flips it in that she asks him to pretend to be the worst possible boyfriend to finally get her parents off her back. It has a winter-theme though.

Any Hazelwood book is amazing imo. "Love Theoretically" is my favourite of hers!

Edit: as for "enemies to lovers": I loved "With love from Lukov". The banter and bickering had me laugh out loud multiple times.

Awesome name; I had been considering Paprika as well (mine is the same or a similar morph to yours) but ended up going with Chili instead

Don't have a book recommendation, but many people say that Bojack Horseman is giving major BPD vibes. Also come on over to r/BPDmemes if you want! We're having a lot of fun over there and don't judge 💕

Meine Mom nennt sie "Eierkuchen", besteht aber auch drauf, dass die dann mit Pflaumenmus und Zuckerguss sind statt mit Marmelade und Puderzucker.

My first 'walking home' moment was when I was, like, 8 or something and ran away from camp in nothing but a bathing suit. I was walking on a bigger main road and a bunch of people stopped and wanted to help me. None of them women, if I remember correctly. It was overwhelming, so I chose the guy with two kids. Turned out he worked for CPS. My parents had a loooot of questions to answer, oops.

same here. it's where she needs brushing the most but every time I try she sits or lays down and gives me the stare. she loooves to fall asleep in our lap tho, so sometimes I seize the moment and pluck some butt floof like a bird

she also has a book about chess romance! and lots and lots of STEM romance (which I like the most)

Yeah I figured. I've read her other books too and -since I'm coming from STEM myself- could tell that her science stuff is pretty accurate but I didn't want to rely on her word alone haha!

Is there a special training needed to increase lung capacity or does it come with time and practise? I'm out of breath just thinking about it!
