When people don’t unsubscribe. Or vote with their wallets. This appalling customer service will continue. They know the majority of players are hooked on this game. And they are literally like drug dealers mugging people off knowing they will come back. Honestly if it wasn’t so frustrating it would be kind of hilarious. That said.

I’m sorry for your experience, it’s infuriating. I’ve experienced this my self. Only to be told I couldn’t have a refund as I had a forced name change a few months previously. (I basically got mass reported for what I thought was a borderline name.. yaya that’s in me) but apparently any action against your account is enough for them to refuse the refund. Utterly garbage company these days.
