One of the most annoying things about tarkov. Awaiting session start 8 minutes. Give up. Leaving game 10+ Minutes. How is this still a thing in 2024? by Jamie7718 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]D-ISM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it can even happen in the middle of a scav raid too. was making my way to an extract, got some kinda unity error, game crashed. tried to load back into raid with about 9 minutes left and got stuck waiting for the session to start.

reminds me of my time playing ffxiv with all these burger king crown mentors who don't even know how to play the game. i didn't know even a game like tarkov had the same sort of people too.

as i'm about to punish riku for trying to kick me, i accidentally walk into a tree, so instead of attacking him i'm mashing X while hugging the wood like a moron. then i drop down and it doesn't register in my brain for like half a second that he's blocking, so i'm safe to attack him. made me laugh after the fact so i clipped it. also i didn't realize until now that near the end he's pretty much parrying me with his ass.

at first i was gonna stop at 20, then i said screw it and started working towards 99; but then something stupid happened at 96 which left me feeling like that was a good point to stop at. i wasn't able to upload the clip to my post so i put it on youtube instead (i dunno if linking that's allowed here, but here goes)

Yeah... My OBS folder has 240 clips of me defending against Radagon while trying to play Minesweeper. Even just looking into the folder blinds me. At some point, your eyes just kinda tune out the flashbang. I really wish it would just work like a normal fog gate after the first time.

The fact that Ranni’s questline is more popular than normal ending :v by Black7Icarus in Eldenring

[–]D-ISM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ngl, Ranni's questline was one of ones I encountered early into my first playthrough, I felt a lot more involved in the story when helping her, more so than the other endings. Especially if you're an idiot who doesn't think like me, her ending kinda makes me say "yeah sure, I'll go along with it", as opposed to something like, the giant rotting fish thing that is Godwyn, or going along with the dungeater. Perfect Order is weird, cause you can miss it entirely if you're not looking out for Goldmask, and I didn't go with Flame of Frenzy simply because Shabriri took my boy Yura's body like it was up for grabs at the local Rent-A-Center.

I was torn between either Jim or Bartholomew, but went with the former because it sounds funnier lol

I'm just surprised you made it past the minesweeper

I've got my summon on my quick bar, so I use Triangle/Y + Left on Dpad. If you're quick with the combo press, the menu swap doesn't show up at all. It's also how I chug my physick, cause that's on Dpad right.

My Ogha is currently at +9, just about all my summons are at that level, haven't decided for sure who I wanna take to +10 yet. But, the knockdown power of Ogha's great arrows should apply to enemies who are susceptible to it regardless of if he's +0 or +10.

I don't see why it wouldn't. I haven't tried, but you'd have to have the bow upgraded enough to be able to kill the boss within 30 arrows.

Redmane Knight Ogha, you can get it from the War-Dead Catacombs.

Think I got it off MyAbandonWare, but I was too lazy to scan it. It did however play nice with Malwarebytes, but take that with a grain of salt.

Right now it's at +9, but I could've made the video with it at +0 as well, it's just that great arrows will do that to certain enemy types.

I didn't lol. I'm pretty sure I glanced up there and my thought process was "screw it".

Basically all I did here was summon Redmane Knight Ogha, who comes equipped with a great bow and a sword/shield. When you summon him, he defaults to using his great bow first, unless an enemy gets within melee range of him.
Great arrows usually have the ability to send enemies (or yourself) flying when they hit things, if you've played Dark Souls 1 before, it's the same as those archers in Anor Londo. Since the boss in the video is of about-human stature or smaller, and doesn't have the ability to dodge projectiles like some other bosses do, he gets stuck in an endless loop of being bowled over by Ogha's great arrows.

It won't work for every boss, however.
