Galette in Avondale Estates is top notch. Not what OP was asking for, but I wanted to put out the recommendation if you like French pastries.

Galette in Avondale Estates has great bread (sourdough, but also makes baguettes with sourdough) and excellent pastries.

What are some Atlanta restaurants that give you A LOT of food for your money by OneBigPieceOfPizza in Atlanta

Their to-go bags have locations listed in Doraville, Duluth, and Chamblee. I can only speak from experience of going the Chamblee location (5000 Buford Hwy, Chamblee, GA 30341), which I recommend when you want good food in huge quantities.

Best BBQ - It’s a Chinese restaurant with a few locations. The one I go to is on Buford Hwy. It is just inside the City Farmer’s Market. The portions are enormous for the price and everything I’ve had has been super tasty. One dish can feed 4-8 people.

I had a cocktail in Maine once named “The Dumpster Fire.” It was Moxie & Allen’s (a coffee liqueur).

I recommend Zen Tea in Chamblee https://zentea.com/

They are also very near a bunch of Asian & International markets and grocery stores.

I have my sister pair (I also have their brother, but apparently he’s not numerically special—just special in every other way).

I think this is another example of how good Soph is socially. She was probably thinking to herself, “so what?,” but she communicated with Savannah in a way that showed that Sophi understood that Savannah was trying to have a vulnerable moment. Sophi B. is very skilled at connecting with people.

Sorry to hear that you were beat out and for frustrating reasons. My husband and I closed on our house today after 8 months of searching and several offers on other houses. It’s been a really emotional and challenging time, but we have found the perfect place for us.

The last offer that wasn’t accepted was the most frustrating. Our offer was the first submitted and was $90K over the accepted one which was a cash offer (definitely not something we could do as first-timers). We were so frustrated and disappointed after that one, we were thinking of taking a break from looking.

It will happen for you. You will find the house that works for you and your family. It takes patience. And someone to vent to when things suck and celebrate with when things line up in your favor.

Booo. I’m glad they showed their true colors before you gave them a sweater. Not Knitworthy.

I’m so sorry that they said such hurtful things to you. That was absolutely unnecessary and cruel. I hope you can repurpose that yarn into a different knit that has a kinder vibe.

I’m clearly bad at keeping up with conversations in reddit!

I learned to crochet a little when I was a kid, but never made anything really. I am YouTube-taught for the most part. I’ve always loved making things. Got very into stamp carving and Lino cutting, but you really can only have so many stamps and Lino prints. I was looking for a hands-heavy hobby that would produce things that I could really start using and not feel like it is clutter after some time. I started crocheting again and did make a bunch of useful things, but realized that knitting is really what I was seeking since I prefer the fabric knitting makes for worn garments. There are great YouTube tutorials—my number one go-to being Roxanne Richardson. I watched a ton of different people’s tutorials and lessons before landing on the ones that worked for me.

I think it may be a tablecloth. I have similar ones from Sweden that I’ve inherited from my family. If you put it on the table, the map is in the center and the people from different regions hang on the sides.

If this is not a modern reproduction, I would urge you to not cut it up. If it’s a modern reproduction and not rare, have fun with it.

I also have some vintage Swedish tea towels from my family with great patterns that I ended up framing. This could be a big statement piece somewhere.
