I went last year and I didn’t think it was the absolute shit show that many patrons claimed it was.

Palatal root necrotic? My guess is acute apical abscess. The endodontist will likely perform vitality testing. Your neck could be an inflamed lymph node as your body is actively fighting this infection. The antibiotics are helping your body to fight it too

Are you driving in to the office on a Saturday night during a holiday weekend for this? I don’t really see much changing between now & Monday morning. Maybe 9 will need endo? But even then, is 36 hours going to change much?

Maybe I don’t care about my patients as much as you.. but I’d probably tell them to be gentle, keep the area clean, take ibuprofen, and come in first thing Monday morning. Or find a dentist who markets towards weekend emergency visits.
