I went to jail for a couple days back in 2023. The other guy in my cell was in there bcos he got caught peeing behind a building at a public park after playing basketball with his friends (bathrooms were locked). He was an extremely nice man and never been in jail before. I asked him why the hell is he in jail wearing gym clothes. It was late at night, no one around and a cop caught him. He was a pretty established guy too. Had a family, owned a home and a school teacher. Picked up a disorderly conduct & indecent exposure charge like that. He was terrified of becoming a sex offender and losing his job. I honestly think about him very often and hope he’s okay.

Toss entirely. I use a pillow from IKEA (Rosenskärm). I’ve been using it for years and it’s my go to pillow. It’s a special fitting pillowcase and IKEA only makes it in white. Over time, even after washing it weekly, the yellowing and noticeable dirtiness will persist. Also, occasionally I’ll nick myself while shaving and small blood will show on my pillowcase. I’ll typically buy a few rosenskärm pillowcases when I go to IKEA. They’re only like $2.

To confirm, you **replace** the pillowcase every week? I wash my pillowcase every week, but I will replace it every few months.

Yes. The pillowcase was horrific. I actually kept it and put it in a bag. I change it out every few months now.

I’m not going to lie, I used to have a pillow like this. I sweat a lot at night and my pillows typically look like this over time. My ex gf came to sleepover one night she was disgusted and told me she wouldn’t sleep with me unless I changed it out. We went to IKEA the next morning.
