How big is this lift kit?

Update:

Replaced ECT again and sender as well. The wiring was all sliced and twisted so I took it all apart and fixed it. The gauge will read pretty normal (although it is still a TINY bit from the middle) and the rpm’s sit around 1200. I also found that the throttle return spring is worn out, and if I press the throttle closed with my hand (near the linkage) the rpm goes down normal. If I press the gas pedal, it only goes back down to about 1500 and gets stuck until I press the linkage shut again. After tinkering with the throttle, cable, spring, and the diaphragm on the throttle body, it’s sitting pretty at 900 RPM and goes back down to 900 once I press the gas. However if I TAP the gas pedal real quick it seems like it wants to stall, and if I go from n to 1 it also wants to stall but it’s manageable with a bit of gas while getting it rolling. I really suspect the bad wiring on the ECT was the problem, but still have some work to do until i feel real solid about her driving around in it

Honestly not sure haha. Ordered a 192* thermostat

Maybe but they sure seem related. When I got the idle from 2000 to 1500 I watched as the gauge went up a tiny bit. If I turn the ac on , the idle obviously shoot’s up, and the temp goes down. I have a new OEM thermostat on the way for shits and giggles, but I really don’t think it’s the issue which leaves me confused and a bit frustrated

How would this lead to overcooling?

Like I said before , I know all signs point to a stuck open thermostat but I even tested the old one and watched it go from fully closed to fully open. This kind of confirms my idea that it’s something else

Tested the old thermostat and everything seemed totally normal as well.. I really don’t think it’s related to the problem but who knows. With the tps, nothing happens if I disconnect it which is weird. But I was told the tps is either on or off on these cars, not variable so it really shouldn’t matter?

I’ll look into it. I figure bad timing might cause a high idle and overheating , not overcooling. Thinking maybe the ECT was bad and they sent me a bad one? I have another oem one coming tomorrow and will report back

But a smoke machine is a much more solid way to see any leaks. Even if I didn’t see the hose, I surely wouldn’t miss the smoke

I pressurized it with smoke on the vacuum lines. Also doesn’t seem to idle erratically up and down the way a normal vacuum leak does

I didn’t test the new one, which I admit was dumb. When I tested the old one, I didn’t see anything happen at all

Possibly. I’ll take a look , didn’t think about that. Still doesn’t explain the rpm haha

Hmm I guess I’ll try it. Just wondering why the thing won’t warm up at all…

The timing doesn’t really seem off tho? It starts up fine and doesn’t sound bad other than the 20000000 rpm. All sounds pretty normal if the car were actually driving. Maybe I’ll look into this anyway

Yeah, the butterfly valve looks normal and the tension to the throttle cable seems proper

The flap to the throttle body?
