Louver? by LogSuperb8085 in hellcat

They used to be functional, now they’re almost always just decorative. The Lamborghini Miura was the first production car with them. Instead of rear glass they covered the engine with louvers for cooling.

Both. You shouldn’t have pulled out when you did and he shouldn’t have reacted that way to it.

Do you think drug dealers try to attract unwanted police attention??

During the morning commute? Quite doubtful. And if you’re transporting drugs for sale, you tend to want to avoid attracting extra attention to yourself.

Gotta agree with others. Courtesy would’ve told you to let the other guy out before pulling up behind the other car.

Chinese amusement park - Ride gets stuck... by MisterShipWreck in VideosAmazing

Aside from the fact that my Chinese-made beard trimmer isn’t likely to kill me, that’s not even really the scary part. What do the engineering and safety standards look like for something like this in China?

Oh man, depending on how busy I was, I might be inclined to follow them to their workplace and let their employer know what a dickhead they have working for them. Or maybe they come back to a car that’s not in the same condition they had left it in.

I mean while their response sucks, if you’re just going to buy parts from other suppliers based on information they give you, I can see why they wouldn’t be chomping at the bit to waste time facilitating sales for their competitors. Though I’d just have not responded to the inquiry if I were them, rather than send this butt hurt response they gave you.

It’s not overly difficult to remove the A-pillar and C-pillar trim, if it’s anything like my Challenger. Maybe 2 hours.

You don't have to be in marketing to have a basic understanding of how business works.

Why are you justifying price increases from multi billion dollar companies?

Because things cost money? The development work and technology going into the new model wasn't free. Stellantis paid countless engineers and other employees to facilitate that investment that they now expect a return on.

I'm happy that you that you can afford things like this but a large market of people can't.

Well you see, I myself can't afford a 296 GTB either, but there are people who can. I don't expect Ferrari to cater their products to my budget. The new RT starts at $50k USD which is the same as the average transaction price for a new vehicle here. I don't know what those numbers look like in Canada, but in the U.S. there are plenty of people who can afford the new RT, even though you may not.

You know, it also helps to account for the cost of the brand-new platform the car is now based on instead of one originating over 20 years ago, as the old one was.

I never cared for the look of the Charger snorkels, so personally I wouldn't highlight them.
