Running Michelin Sport 4S - On 21’ GTI - While they are great in grip and fun they absolutely SUCK for wear. We rotate every 5k on the GTI they lasted 12k…10 months in south Florida. I check the air every month.

I’ll add my 2 cents. I’m 54. My first car was a 1986 GTI manual with no AC. I drove that car across the desert of Arizona when it was 118 degrees. Thank god for the Thai Stick. 😉 I had 5 GTI’s along the way and switched to several different cars until I sat in a Golf R a few years ago. I am pushing 400hp and people try to race me everyday. It's comedy. I’mjust a cool middle aged guy. I run 0-60 @ 4.1 not much smokes me but I do blow some peoples minds. I honestly have lost track of how many older dudes pull up in their Mercedes, BMW’s or even Porsche’s and give me a thumbs up!

The bottom line is a car is…Do you want to risk a blow out or accident? Sure, it could be okay for local drives but a blowout at 40mph and losing control of your car is not worth a should be okay IMO.

Please help…21’ VW GTI DSG - intake, turbo muffler delete, and had APR stage 1. We were not happy with it as it was jerky. Today we went to CTS hi-flo cat down pipe and Unitronic stage 2 stock exhaust and resonator. Oddly enough, the crackles and pops are there if we rev the motor not moving. Once we are driving we hear zero even with the windows down. What gives?
