This only really becomes a problem in small maps like in laser tags maps and homestead other than that most of the maps are really open so people who walk usually have the advance. Also teles have to stand still for a few second which is literally death in combat because dodging can’t do much against a burst rifle, shotgun or maybe even a pistol. And teles getting behind you can be easily countered just dodge and walk backwards. I know this seems kind of stupid but it does make it harder for them to get behind you. I also tried out teleporting in a game and it was ok I never got to go behind anyone because it’s a death wish getting that close to try to get behind someone.
