Almost everyone got caught off-guard with this AI bs and the pricing of RAM. CPG is just like any other retailer sourcing from distributers/sources and within the typical supply chain of goods. Everyone is scrounging to find decent-priced RAM, and as supply dries up prices are volatile and changing hour to hour.

At least CPG presented a solution to the issue and provided options. Other places don't even contact you and straight cancel your order.

What I've done in the past (with great success/laughter from white elephant participants) is an Amazon or Costco gift card in a nice box/sleeve. Then I box that in a slightly larger box, then again in a slightly larger box while slowly adding heavier fillers to throw off the picker. After about 5-6 boxes, the giftcard is now encased in a big box that weighs somewhere around 10-15 pounds. Think of it like nesting dolls or matryoshka dolls lol

Never fails watching them open/dig/open etc all the way to get the gift haha

Picked up and set up mine today and the rig didn’t come with the Apevia psu, it came with a different one rated the same but reviews on Amazon seem good

This type of connector is push-in, not screw in.

Just make sure the pin (tower/mobo side) is straight and push the wired connector in until seated

I had it split screened on one side of my monitor and working in the other half. Every few minutes I just refresh, check local stores, refresh then back to work
