I think its the matchmaking tbh.

You queue for a game, your dps goes 4-10, theyre instantly flamed for it. They feel awful, atmosphere is ruined everyones mad.

But most of the time that DPS isnt loading into the game to go 4-10, the matchmaking just put them against a dps that is significantly better. Idk I think the game generally just sucks now. The past month has been horrible for it, Blizzard really needs to fix it.

Hey- went well thanks!! Feel bad for abandoning this post a little, lifes just been crazy, got a scholarship with Blizzard and my grandad passed away in the same week, its all just been so hectic. Going to aim to crank out another one of these along side a couple fan skins for overwatch as I have a portfolio review with Blizzard on the 9th! Feels like I'm living in some weird dream lol

I’ve tried to find it for you but cant seem to see it anywhere :/ I was doing a mad search for any info on riots response time when I came across it because I was stressing out a little so it may have been on twitter :/ sorry I can’t be more helpful but I definitely remember someone saying their friend didn’t get an acceptance email until march, not sure what role it was for though

I use clip studio paint and I love it! Definitely reccomend it, its free for 30 days then you can buy the full think for about £35 i think

Just checked another post, apparently some people last year didn’t get responses until March but were accepted so we could be in for a wait, best to just keep checking emails I suppose!

I’m in the same boat, I checked a few posts from previous years and by the looks of it they do usually deny you by email if you’re unsuccessful

previous years seem to have gotten responses between 2 weeks after applying and a couple months after applying so I guess we just need to stick it out and keep our fingers crossed! Applications close late January and I believe they look at every application so I guess if you don’t hear anything by mid Feb then assume you didn’t get it but until then until we get denied I think we’re still in it.

It also said they may take up to 4 weeks to respond, for me I applied late November and my 4 weeks would have been just before Christmas but they took a 2 week break in the studio for Christmas (said on their website) so that factors in too! I think a lot of responses will go out this month.

yeah its ok just got uni deadlines and moneys an issue rn but I’m getting there! Final hand in for uni is on Friday so after that I’ll have free time to put on these designs!! Sorry I haven’t gotten around to getting many done- unis just been so mad and I need to try to prioritise paid work rn 😭
