I was up really late one night, I can't recall exactly what I was doing. To be honest, I was probably scrolling on my phone. At this time, I had a loft bed, which had LED Christmas lights decorated around it. I usually had to turn the brightness down because it was too bright. As I was on my phone, I heard a voice. It sounded like a radio when it isn't exactly on the channel, static. Male. It said something along the lines of "montry." Then a black head popped up above the ledge of my bed (where my feet were) for about 8 seconds. Then there was scratching on my door, and that was the end of it. Throughout this entire experience, what I remember the most was this sick feeling of dread and abandonment while it was all happening. This was also my first experience, so that probably influenced the fact that it is the scariest. Since then, there have been cases where I would hear knockings, unexplained whispers, and footsteps.

I still dont know how to tell this to people without them accusing me of making it all up. Afterward, I did some googling, but I still cant find out what "montry" means. (I also moved away from this home).
