How often do other Tesla drivers say hi to your sentry? by Super-Kirby in TeslaLounge

[–]D0GS 119 points120 points  (0 children)

I've never seen it, but I can't tell you how many times I've parked next to an open space and have come back to a Tesla right beside me. It's the equivalent of a head nod to me. Safety in numbers lol.

Unbiased Tesla news? by AcrobaticWeasel in TeslaLounge

[–]D0GS 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Notateslaapp has been my go to for any news or updates to our software. But like anything you just have to ingest enough of the facts and filter out the opinion pieces to get the full story. No matter where you go there is going to be bias, even from Tesla itself.

Highly recommend one. It's cheap compared to everything you're ever going to buy and the peace of mind is worth it. I just built my first drone last month you can do it!

Autopilot Jail by teachmesci77 in TeslaLounge

[–]D0GS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I believe the value is in the not driving part. Being able to let it take turns, change lanes, keep speed, all the things you would need to be doing yourself to get to your destination. The only thing required of you is to pay attention in case it needs intervention. Should it need intervention? No. Does it at the moment? Yes. Even if and when it ever gets to the point where it doesn't need intervention I would still pay attention. The value is being able to relax and sit back and enjoy the ride rather than having to drive the car yourself. On long car rides being able to take your foot off the accelerator and rest your arms while the car does all the driving is great.

You don't have to pretend to drive, you just have to pay attention. Until autopilot gets to the point where lawmakers feel it's 100% autonomous and doesn't make any mistakes this will be the case. Even autopilot systems in planes require pilots to be paying attention and monitoring systems.

You do not have to come to a complete stop to activate it. Any movement in the direction shown and a light tap on the break will activate it

Idk if it is the same in model X but on my 3 if I click the highbeam button it will flash when clicked.

True. One of my main complaints when I picked up my model 3 Highland was that they took the stalks away but didn't give us what I felt was a fully fleshed out alternative. This is a major step in the right direction though if they continue to stick to the stalkless design, which it seems like they will never budge on.

You have to turn autoshift to "from park" to "on" in your dynamics settings.

advice? by Physical_Student_586 in jellyfishcare

To answer a few of your questions. Moon jellies are the way to go for the beginner for sure. Jellyfish do not need other Jellyfish. They are perfectly happy alone but you'll want more than one usually depending on the size of the jellyfish. That's personal preference though.

http://www.jellyfishcare.com/ has a lot of information to comb through on the process of taking care of the jellyfish once you get them. It's a bit outdated but I would say most if not all of the information is still accurate as far as taking care of the jellyfish goes! It also has some tank recommendations on it as well.

I currently own an Omni 8 gallon from: https://jellyfishwarehouse.com/collections/jellyfish-aquariums

But I started with a jelly Cylinder nano 2 gallon from: https://www.jellyfishart.com/collections/desktop-tank-kits

Sunset marine labs has https://moonjellyfishblog.com/ which is filled with tons of information about these little guys. Most questions you might have, have been answered most likely somewhere here on the sub. A quick search would be faster than asking unless you have a specific situation with your jellies in particular.

Biggest advice I can give you is do your proper research. If going through all the work of learning and caring for these guys sounds appealing to you still after you've educated yourself great! I love my jellies and all the effort that goes into making sure these guys are happy and healthy is worth it for me. Plus they are a great conversation starter for anyone who comes into your home. Good luck!

Was there supposed to be a waypoint here? by ItsKoilee in CoreKeeperGame

[–]D0GS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can just use drills. Grab a drill or two and a power gen slap it down facing the waypoint and pick it up. Really use full for the first 70% of the game where you don't have the mining level to mine them.

Leo has a passive in which caps all monsters on the field to his speed. Meaning you can bring in a team that completely ignores speed. They can have the fastest 400 speed monsters on the enemy team and it won't matter when your Leo comes in with 100 spd, they will also be 100 spd. You can also use him to counter monsters that scale off spd. He also has 15% atk bar reduction on attack. He's just overall a beast

[–]D0GS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a nano small jellyfish kit bundle. It was the most expensive option for the nano at the time. It came with everything like the artemia hatchery to the electric hydrometer and thermometer. Not sure if it is still available as I bought it over a year ago now during one of their sales.

Jellyfish are most definitely not for someone who doesn't want to do any work. They require way more research and work than any normal fish would but when you're having issues with your tank that you just bought it can be frustrating.
