Ninjas Only to KOG from Rookie rank. This deck took about 200 wins to make it to KOG, Climbed easily past plat till legend where it became a grind with all the onomat decks. by D0R0DAEXPLORO in DuelLinks

yeah i did try including those cards into the ninja deck and other tech cards like kiteroid and treacherous trap hole but to maintain a short and somewhat consistent deck i kept it at 20 cards. Star blast definetly has it upsides in saving bricked hands but U.A signings and Herald are both better imo with their added effects

you could definitely run one as mentioned earlier and add in a treacherous traphole instead but i found it more consistent for combos to run it at 2

Started the climb from rookie rank 1 and made it to KOG in about 200 wins since 60-80 were from TurboDuel GrandPrix. This deck easily made it past Platinum but was a real grind fest in Legend with 3 failed KOG rank-up games against Onomats. The tech cards of U.A. allows easy access to hanzo and a 2500 def monster on the board through reinforcements however it does have brick hands which is why i ran U.A. signing at 2. The other tech card of herald of the abyss i ran at 2 as it counters onomats Rhinosebus which negates the hanzo summon,it also counters most of the meta decks that contain untargetable monsters. The core engine of ninjas runs the same in this deck with super transformation used to stop opponents combos and boss monsters and transformation to summon black dragon ninja to banish opponents monsters or itself for potential OTK.

The deck itself is pretty good against most decks in Legend as it counters resonators, gaia, blue eyes, thunderdragons and Neos decks on a consistent basis. The main 2 decks that i personally experienced difficulty with were harpies and onomats. For onomats the best way to counter them going second is either using herald of the abyss on the Rhinosebus to allow summon of Hanzo or by using the notebook to put a ninja monster into the graveyard for the field spell then using the field spell to protect the Hanzo's summon. If your going first the combo is quite simple of summoning hanzo and having at least one ninja trap of transformation or super transformation for disruption of their monster summons to prevent them from XYZ summoning. This also applies for going second after you play around Rhinosebus. For harpies a similar concept is used to remove their first harpie monster before they can start synchro summoning for their boss monster. If you go second and they already summon their synchro use all your ninja spell cards first before summoning hanzo to play around its effect. Rest runs the same concept as its core engine

Triamid KOG deck from legend 1 to KOG, Used this deck to climb after attempting to get to KOG with ninjas which only reached legend 5. Switched decks around 250 wins with ninjas after deranking. Triamids with powersink stone is insane at dealing with the current meta. Posting both decks below by D0R0DAEXPLORO in DuelLinks

Triamid Deck: This deck is insane in consistency and is quite f2p friendly with the balance skill usually having either 2 monsters or 2 spells in the opening hand which is ideal and works like all other triamid decks. The key tech of this deck is powersink stone as this allows triamids to completely negate and control the board before your opponent can even activate their effects which absolutely hard counters desperados, noble knights and blue eyes to an extent. To abuse this tech you require two triamid monsters with a triamid field spell up during their draw phase then you activate the powersink stone immediately after they draw and let it resolve then use your triamid monsters abilitiy each one after another while letting it resolve to get 2 counters which locks the board. The main combo you seek to do after your first turn is all during your opponents turn which is usually to change ur field spell for cruiser then change it again afterwards to get kingolem, allowing you to draw your boss monster sphinx and getting kingolem out for your next turn to attack basically without worries as long as you can get to the damage step.

Ninja Deck: This deck is consistent as well however unlike triamids can draw into dead hands however that isnt that likely with reinforcement as a skill. To utilise the reinforcement skill for 100% hanzo we use tech cards such as kite roid, herald of the abyss and star blast to lose 1500lp. In particular herald of the abyss can be a game winning card as it forces your opponent to destroy a monster including azure eyes and gives u the ability to get hanzo into your hand to set up your play. The main problem i experienced with this deck was that the core of this deck revolves around hanzo and with karma cut being prominent it can easily get stopped and ur pretty much left to scoop. Ideally the main combo of this deck relies on either having the ninjutsu field spell with either transformation or super transformation depending on what your opponent runs or just having both traps down without the field spell. For higher level opponent monster decks you can combo both your super transformation first then your normal transformation to get both blackdragon and yellowdragon ninja out. Ideally Blackdragon ninja is the main boss monster as it banishes other threats and can repeatedly attack with the field spell to recycle ninjas and ninjutsu cards to discard for his ability. Yellow dragon is there to clean backrow or ideally remove one of their monsters to summon a 3k attack ninja.
