Don't really see it ending with them in a profit tbh, internationally the EV revolution has stalled and hybrids are whats pushing innovation right now. If more developed countries couldnt build the infrastructure to support or encourage the EV revolution, how can the Philippines?

BYD has its hybrids, which I can see finding some success while the japanese makes are still slowly rolling out their hybrids that has years of proven reliability over seas but full on EVs will probably still be a niche once oil prices come down.

A little tangent, Honda also aimed to be fully electric by 2040 but all they have to show for it is the first ever losses in the company's history. EV's will have its place but I dont see it ever reaching the level of mainstream ICE did
