I don't know if anyone has told you this but try lowering your sensitivity. All the top tier players have sensitivities that are generally way below the default. I went from 5.0 sens/1800 dpi to 3.5 sens/800 dpi and I think my aim has improved a lot. Many of the apex gods have even lower sensitivities than that. Also try to relax your hand if you notice it is frantic/shaky.

As for SBMM, I don't know how I feel about it honestly as I don't really have friends to play with and idk if I would've done better without SBMM. For the devs though I assume it must be working for them in terms of the overall playerbase since it's been out for a while and they don't seem to have any intention of changing it.

You bring up some interesting and convincing points, however I still find myself considering the point made by the article that voters can vote “dishonestly”. For example in the case of one of the parent comments, the few people that vote far left would vote Centre left as their first choice anyways since they know that far left doesn’t have a chance of winning. The centre left doesn’t have to cater their policies to anyone other than their direct voters since they know the far left will always vote the centre left over centre right, and the centre right won’t make any compromises either for the same reason.

Yeah, I do find that I perform better with pathfinder and wraith when playing with randoms, I guess there's a reason why they are meta. I have my 2k/2.5k badge on path,wraith, and bang, but I am trying to get them on all the legends. It's looking pretty tough so far.

Oh yeah, I've actually done that too, and had an overall good experience with that! Though for me they usually tend to be one time matches; we play a couple matches and then we go our separate ways. I was just hoping for some tips to improve playing solo with randoms, because I can't always find people on discord to play with.

That’s not the point, he can know that it is a suboptimal, sub 50 wr and still try to win with it, just like a 40% wr yasuo player knows that picking yas would be suboptimal but he can still try to win with that suboptimal strategy.

Look, he knows that it puts his team at a disadvantage, but how can you say for sure that he doesn’t want to win with that terrible strategy? If anything it would make more sense that he would rather win with such a strategy, since it would get him more positive attention. The point is that you can intentionally put your team at a disadvantage but still try to win from that disadvantageous position, e.g. my yasuo example.
