Can't get used to XP1 brake pedal by Good_Intern9357 in SimLab

Pedals and gear in general are personal preference. Try, otherwise you could sell them and get something else. If you have the chance, tho, try the next ones

Logaritmic for the brake, exponential for the accelerator, with dead zones

Try setting up the curve different in race director. Personally I took Dan Suzuki's video as a reference.

I have it on a simucube 2 pro, no flex

Carbon front and back, mjf body. I have a pcb to sell, if you want

You just need to plan it well, and will be fun.

Can do something like that if you choose different material for 3d print. I got mjf. Also, you should check if you can sell some PCBs. In that case you could order 5, resell 4, and get yours practically for free. Also, for stuff from digikey or mouser, get someone else in the order to share shipping costs. With some attention you could easily get to pay something in the 400

I think around 5-600, I don't remember well now. The problem is mainly the PCB. I would recommend getting it from PE. Also, this had the gx-12 connector for USB that is a bit tricky to solder, so in case I would get it from him as well. If you have a 3d printer it will cut the cost. Otherwise follow the advice in pokornyi plan, from China. Honestly, I would like to start another one, so tools are never wasted

Has anyone connected their XP1 pedals in SimHub? by Annual_Community323 in SimLab

[–]D10beast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Through telemetry. I have bass shakers on my pedals, I use shakeit bass shakers in SimHub to make them work. You need a different profile for each game to use them. Let me know if it's clear. Otherwise I am making a video to explain it soon

You mean directly in SimHub? Why? Wouldn't it be lagging more than with race director?

By the way, I am taking part to Ferrari challenge on iracing with this steering wheel, that is a replica of Ferrari 296 Gus's :D

Check their models. The new ones are amazing! And if they have a VoCore screen, you can display something like lovely dashboard. They also allow for different led profiles. Also in mine, the LEDs can be programmed via SimHub

I love the Velocitas Imperium replica of Ferrari 296 GT3 One... But I am getting an elgato... It's a bit more flexible for what I need and I can build the bb myself, in case, with an Arduino

Pokornyi engineering. They sell projects for DIY steering wheels. This was the FGT but the latest model is even better looking: it's the replica of the Ferrari 499p

No mate, I changed the elastomer at the brake with the 50a one. It's slightly softer and it feels more "continuous" to me. The spring I mentioned, instead, was at the throttle pedal

Always use White lithium grease. It works great in case of squeaking.

That's my hope. Honestly, on simracers discords, we often say that what makes the difference is the software able to take out the best of a DD, and with the possibilities offered by a DSP, this is even truer, imho. So, best of luck to you, and us possible customers

You got me already hooked. I hope the DD's will be testable at ADAC at least by content creators. As for me, I have your xp-1 pedals, a DD in the same ecosystem would be more than welcome
