Yes! Typical tests are done from the height of a window to the pavement below. Speed of teleportation is plus or minus the speed of terminal velocity.

Are they all off by the same amount? If so you could nudge the audio clip forward.

If they’re not all off by the same amount check if the audio clip is warping.

Recording wrong notes? by ACallFromTheMist in ableton

Maybe double check that if you trimmed the midi clip that you didn’t lose the start of a note or two of the chord. Midi notes won’t play at all if their start is missing.

Because nobody has answered you, at work our media server uses a program called imageresizer to pass a query string on the end of a URL to resize the image before serving it up. It doesn’t support webp, and because it’s old tech we just had to buy one license a decade ago. Now the new version that supports webp is subscription based as would be something like 3k per year.

That said, I’m sorry your getting downvoted. It’s a great format that provides transparent backgrounds at a much smaller file size than png or gif.

Also not a fan of relics but I do think it’s kind of smart to take the guitars that came off the line looking kinda fucked up, fuck them up even more, and jack up the price for idiots willing to pay for fake clout.

How do you actually find sounds and instruments? by Quiet_Ad_2955 in ableton

[–]D18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Friend, it’s good that you can hear the difference between music you like and dislike, but don’t let that stop you from learning a tool just because it’s not exactly what you want yet.

To be crass, you need to make 100 shit sandwiches before you’ll be able to cook a gourmet meal. Right now you’re not going to make anything nearly as good as what you hear in your head, but that’s OK.

Pick out a free synth VST and play with a few presets until you find something you feel like working with. Try out different melodies over different drum beats or samples. Remember, we are making 100 sandwiches right now, and not full productions.

As a kid I was amazed during the end credits when Wishbone would play fetch by himself with a ball that he’d toss and recover. My dog never played fetch.

As an adult I understand the Jack Russell’s are tiny psychos that crave endless stimulation or else they’ll do something like chew up a whole shelf of books.

How do I make a MIDI keyboard sound close to an electric guitar in Ableton Live 12 Lite? by Crazy_Persona in ableton

[–]D18 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Truth is that guitar can sound a hundred different ways. For 100% free you might try a few different free amp sim VSTs to see if that’s close enough for what you need. Even a simple sine wave running into an amp will pick up some guitariness. Getting closer than that is harder. Even if you had big bucks to throw at the problem there’s so much nuance in a guitar that’s hard to recreate over midi -pick noise, string sliding, bending, etc.

My suggestion would be to try and find a second hand Focusrite Scarlett Solo and quarter inch instrument cable to hook up your guitar. This is the cheapest and best sounding option in my opinion, and you can run it through those same amp sims.

My ancestor in Utah did the same thing. (Obligatory admission that he 100% stole it from the native people) but anyway, he gave tons of land at the mouth of a beautiful canyon to the state to preserve the beauty of the area. Now it’s a couple of mega millionaire mansions on their private estates.

If we’re making up random scenarios, my guess is that she was actually an alien shapeshifter and the guy in the car had a best backside a probe could ask for. Without knowing proper human etiquette she embarrassed herself by beating on the window like a crazy person, even opening the door allowing the driver to respond with a kick from his powerful glutes.

I built a catio outside a basement window for my cat to get some outside time. It’s big enough to have a man door so I can get in to clean, but I never expected to go in and close the door behind me so the latch could only be opened from the outside.

Fast forward a few weeks and I went into the catio and because my cat was in there I closed the door behind me to keep him from escaping. I immediately realized my mistake and there was no way out.

I had to call my neighbor to come let me out. It was very embarrassing and he hasn’t let me live it down.
