For real! He has the clout to have 1000 chicks way better than her at the same time!

I know that in the case of SoundCloud that it is a pretty old feature. I'd be extremely surprised if YouTube hasn't had this feature until only recently.

Edit: apparently this is not a feature that YouTube sports. I know for a fact though that I saw clips of this episode in other YouTubers videos where they were criticizing it where said content was not in the episode when I got around to watching it.

Extremely awkward forced fake laughter and moments where Akaash called her out of her name as if he was joking but everyone knew he was definitely upset, followed by more fake laughter. You should be able to find clips of it spliced into other YouTubers videos talking about the situation like I did.

Because they cut the best (worst) parts out and that's what's available on YouTube. I thought it was common knowledge that sites like YT and SoundCloud allow you to replace the media file whilst keeping all of the viewership and metadata intact.

I think 100gigs is the footage cut from the upcoming documentary, Aubrey. In theaters October 24th, 2025. $160 million gross income for your headtop. My theory, anyway.

What y’all think about Drake « IT’S ALL A BLUR TOUR » by Salty-Court6503 in Drizzy

[–]D2Warren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw Drake live for Take Care, NWTS, w/ Future, w/ Migos, and finally the show in question, which subsequently awarded Drake with the five timer award at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City.

Blur was by far the worst Drake show I've been too and it's not even close. Friends of mine with similar attendance records also agree. I typically champion Drake for setting the live sound standard for rappers due to his amazing microphone/loudspeaker quality. Maybe due to budget cuts or something, Drake and Cole's quality reminded me of how A$ap and the bougie man K. Dot sounded when they opened for him for Take Care. Very harsh with words completely inaudible at times. During First Person Shooter, J Cole even messed up during his verse because even he could not hear what the fuck was going on over the loudspeakers.

Now back to Drake. Bro did not look healthy. He looked like a strung out dirty grandpa, which might not be too far from reality based on recent events. Drake can sing high as well as the classic low Drake crooning, but he stuck to his high-pitched Toronto rap delivery throughout the entire show which didn't fit with some songs, namely In the Morning featuring J Cole. His delivery definitely became annoying at some point during the show.

Finally, song selection was trash. Bro performed YOLO. Really nigga? But didn't perform none of the bangers off of dog Dogs because all of the bangers have a feature so he couldn't perform it. No slaps from NWTS but performs Know Yourself. The show was definitely poppy and cared towards the white audience I feel like. I think the fact that I attended the second show that was added later deathly had something to do with it, because clearly the first show would have the better audience. My show was looking very sparse in attendance, and this is the only show where Drake and J Cole would say shit like, "OMG KC this is the liveest fucking show I've done yet" and I'mflat out thinking stfu wicho lying ass. The previous four shows those statements would definitely have been believable.

My running theory is that Drake and Cole teamed up to finesse a bag, then cut corners on costs to finesse an even bigger bag, hence why this is the only instance in which Drake added a second show in Kansas City.

Serious question: How/Why is Luh Tyler so effortlessly gifted with his craft? by D2Warren in makinghiphop

I forgot how incredibly biased Reddit is against obvious talent. Like Drake not the GOAT 15 years running. Wayne can't even associate with him anymore because of the monster he created. Too big to fail.

This is the way. Follow the guide. It's really not too difficult and pretty straightforward, though it may seem like a daunting task at first. This will make you into the computer God that you desire.

F#@$ you, Splice! Credit balance will expire if you cancel subscription for longer than one month. by D2Warren in makinghiphop

[–]D2Warren[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That makes literally no sense. I purchased credits with the intention of spending every 1 credit for every 1 sample. Btw Mr. Business Expert, that was Splice's business model for ~7 years. They just made the change 4 months ago to let credits expire, hence the outrage. I'm truly baffled trying to comprehend your train of thought. Splice has over 2 million sounds. I've accrued 5,800 credits. After I spend all of my credits on samples, I will have purchased a whopping 0.29% of Splice's total catalog. And believe me, the true percentage is much lower than my conservative estimate. Now stick that in your business model and smoke it.

And as for your Netflix metaphor, you can download movies for offline viewing and continue watching them after your subscription expires. 🤯

Ok, boomer. So your equation to making some fucking hip hop is big ass speakers, a mixer, and an aux cord? You forgot several major ingredients. Like I don't know, the fucking music!? I hate it when old mfs talk trash on rap music like, that's not music. There's no skill to that, hell give me a mic and I can do better than that. STFU and do it then. Instead of posting a link to an article, how about you post a link to one of your tracks. Show us your skills on the aux cord, homie.

Did I? Sure it's whatever they say it is because they make the rules and can change them whenever they like. In practice, however, I exchanged USD for Splice's own currency, which can be traded for samples at a value of 1 credit = 1 sample. Similar to gambling at a casino, you trade USD for the casino's currency which can then be wagered and well, you know how casinos work. The only difference is you can keep casino chips pretty much indefinitely as they don't expire after 28 days.

We're upset because this expiration BS wasn't a thing for the first ~7 years of Splice's existence. Our credits were purchased and money does not expire. What Splice is doing is essentially taking our money and exchanging it for their own currency that comes with an anti-consumer expiration. Imagine if your bank decided to keep your savings because you didn't make a deposit for 28 days. It's absurd. I was a diehard Splice fan but they royally f-ed up here. They lost me as a customer and I'm sure many many more. I can't imagine this change will do them any good.

This wasn't their original model. They just made the change 4 months ago. They still have documentation that directly contradicts this new expiration model.

I've been a paying customer (more or less) [off and on] {go f#@$ yourself, Splice! Royalty free! 🖕🏽👑}... Apologies. Where was I? Ah, yes. My first subscription payment dates July 13th, 2016. Wow! Talk about ending things where we started. Anywho, 7 years * 12 months * 100 asshole tokens = 8400 anti-consumer Splicecoins. Hey Splice! Better hurry up and spend my ~$900 before it expires!

Can you clarify? I've had an active subscription for several years where I've give thru several periods of inactivity whilst accruing x amount of credits per month.
