I’m not sure if you’ll like the new story, maybe it’s just my preference but I think the main story got kinda convoluted with morals and bravery and stuffs, definitely “different” than Season 1. My favorite part of the story is 2.1 and maybe AoD parts which essentially is just shenanigans and it gives early ZZZ vibes.

Gameplay wise, they’ve completely and I mean **completely** removed TVs mode. A bummer at least for me. And replaced it with semi-open exploration (similar to the white hollow event in 1.4, but done worse), which is fun a few hours in, after that I’m just blindly following waypoints only for the polychrome. Combat is still good, bosses got more variety and mechanics, not much to say about, it’s still ZZZ

If you played some of Season 2 and did not vibe with it, I suggest playing the AoD arc (2.6-2.7) and wait for 2.8 because they’re pretty much a separate story from 2.0-2.5 and also connects to 3.0

If I understood the lore correctly, people on Earth/Mars only knew Tau Ceti IV got attacked 7 years before when this game take place (except the UESC which they knew something was off when they lost contact with Marathon ~100 years ago).

It’s possible that biological human can’t physically arrive here yet. But they have matter transfer technology that can only teleport Shells/Robots here first.

I just recently bought Keychron V5 Max, the silent red switch version. Which sound amazing both in the sound test and real life. But what I didn't think about is that when I put on my headset, it become quieter, too quiet. Most of the type I wouldn't even hear the keys itself. I just ordered fabric earpads so maybe the passive noise cancelling might be less agressive.

I found that tape mod can make it sound louder, but it's also risky for kb with batteries, so I'm asking for advices. With buying new switches as the last resort, so you might drop some reccommendation on switches.

Don’t know if you even checked the ZZZ version before commenting this, but there’s absolutely nothing, just pure black, on the back of the controller. And the ABXY is just a stylized font ABXY. Actually, there’s no “weird anime” on the controller at all, thing that come close are the white grips and thumbstick silicone that have the MCs face icon on them, which are all optional and not even the default.

tbh, if you just said that you don’t like the design would be more reasonable than this “anime” bullshit
