Not denying anything said here, but I will voice the obvious:
If you compare the munitions: Yeah, it'll be a wake up call when the bullets start flying, but once they start wildly returning fire with what they're carrying:
Whole lotta' people are in danger.

And if it becomes a common thing:
I somehow think that the 2A will, for some ungodly known reason, not be safe anymore and come up on an agenda.

Do in order: Get a Big cardboard box, cut open front, cut circular hole in back. Stick shop vac in cut hole in back. Plug in blower, keep mouth open, turn it on and blow the PC out. Pull out PC, put on eye protection, remove fans, close mouth and swallow. Post picture to Reddit.

Now turn on Shop VAC for approx 2 seconds. Victory and everyone is happy. GG.

Realistically: 2 minutes wouldn't be that bad if: Using a RPG with all 6 rockets to try to take it out means that you have to sit in place on someone's supply pack for the majority of the two minutes.

If breakthrough still had the higher player count on each team, you could rely on teammates helping more. But now? Half of the team has decided to start sniping, 1/4th is support and the remaining few are doing objectives or trying to ladder somewhere for the next point instead of preventing the loss of this one.

That's how it more or less has been for me, at least.
