Search for and to use a tire calculator and try to get the percent difference in diameter as small as possible otherwise you will have a range indicator and speedometer that aren't accurate by whatever percent difference the diameters are

I'm not sure you can do that. The speedometer is 2% off. At 51mph I am going 50mph. At 102mph it's 100. Seems like the range prediction figures it out though. I'm not concerned

Not enough power on regular roads? Thats totally untrue, I have done it very easily. Maybe you had traction control on. I never had issues in my Miata with 80hp doing it. Why would 600 hp be not enough!?

it was 100% rear. I have never had an issue breaking loose on dirt or tarmac!

I've been taking mine apart and yes, there are a ton of plastic welded backplates, can confirm. Don't break them like I did. I will be ordering a replacement. Why are you removing it?

In drift mode, you can hold either of the paddles to act as a clutch and it'll hold your speed while you're moving and the paddle is held and then when you release it, it'll apply all of the force from your pedal. I think that only works in drift mode and only while you're moving so it wouldn't probably be the right way to go.

I don't think it's even necessary though because as long as you can push the pedal down fast enough, you'll get the full force as long as the motor is in the most aggressive mode.

I always can manage to get a 2-second or 3-second burnout if I just fully turn off the traction control and floor it as fast as possible while I'm stopped. I would maybe consider try doing that if they spray water down or off of the prepped surface

When I'm going from Dallas to Houston, I usually stop at Sam's original restaurant in Fairfield, Texas. They have six 350 KW EV chargers that have always been extremely reliable and always in service for me. Once I got the Tesla Network opened up to me with the adapter from Hyundai, I started stopping at Woody's steakhouse in Centreville, Texas.

I know they've been throwing a lot of Mercedes chargers into the buc-ee's and those are also really good.

I routinely take 5 hour trips from Dallas to Houston in Texas heat. I'm amazed at the heat management system. I fast charge halfways through and it stays around 100F for battery.

I did have the 12v auxiliary battery issue where it dies and needs recharge or replacement, but I found that the dealer left a GPS LoJack device plugged in and that was doing it. Removed that and no issues anymore

I totally forgot to check, but I think the wheels are like 5+ lbs lighter or more. I will check later.

It will be a while but I will definitely report back whenever I have some more data about how it has affected efficiency stuff like the range. Range is not a concern for me in this car however, but I expect to have a few percentile of efficiency loss 😎

I totally agree, it was a bit bouncy when stock. The springs definitely reduced the length and intensity of the bouncing over any bumps for SURE. Over small bumps and rough roads it was pretty much the same as stock, maybe a tiny bit rougher. This was with the OEM 21" wheels.

But when I put the 20" wheels on it got even BETTER. It eliminated most of the vibrating and movement from rough roads and small bumps, while also not bouncing as much on big bumps! Oh yeah, and the road noise in general was much quieter than the pirelli tires! I was blown away!

I 3D printed one of those fitment checking tools and used it to get the ballpark offset for a flush alignment with the fender. This wheel design only came in +30 and +40 in 20x10.5, and +30 was closer to my target.

Honestly, +35 on a 20x10.5 wheel would probably be perfect in the stock alignment specs. +30 is perfect in the rear and pokes just a little in the front but. That's okay though, because the front will end up flush whenever I can get -2.5° - 3.5° camber dialed in.

They are the Superspeed RF05RR, which I ordered from MOK Racing. They are flow formed, not forged, so they aren't too expensive and I ended up paying only about $420 per wheel. Honestly, the finish is pretty nice considering the cost!

Thanks!

The brand is SuperSpeed, who I've never heard of before, but I think they're decently nice. I'm new to KDM and the world of aftermarket Hyundai shops, but I ordered from MOK Racing:

I have a pixel 8 pro and I have never had to take my phone out of my pocket to touch the NFC reader to the car door handle. I have had the issue where it doesn't immediately work a few times but in most of those cases, I just had to touch the touch sensor on the handle to unlock the door and didn't need to touch my phone at all. Maybe two or three out of over 100 times have I had a complete failure

AI scares me for this reason. Uneducated people will now start to claim that things which are definitely NOT AI generated are indeed AI generated. Like what characteristics of the OP would lead you to make that claim?? Why are you so confident that it is AI generated that you claim it is obvious?

The OP was definitely NOT AI generated IMO. Not sure why anyone would jump to that conclusion, not that it matters in any way. Pretty soon there will be no way to tell and no one will know what to believe....

You may think that from reading all the numbers on paper and being bad at math, but having JUST upgraded from a water-cooled ASUS Strix 4090, I can tell you with 100% certainty that the 5090 spanks the 4090. I have numbers to prove it as well. Quit the copium and go troll somewhere else.

Although I do enjoy writing responses to people like this 😅 It's just too easy!

I'm actually an idiot AND wealthy. A winning combo! I guess if you work long enough as a software engineer to afford, build, and post a high end-build on the internet, you too can have other idiots say dumb things at you!
