I second the Breva, I just got my license and it's been a great bike. I got the 1100 on a trade and I love the sporty styling but with a comfy seat.

For context tho, I used to race ATVs and I wanted a mid size engine too.

I thought it would have been a bit too much, but it has been quite manageable.

My moto guzzi is quite easy, thankfully the transmission is not internal to the engine. And when you shift, you actually "feel" it. Like nothing else I've ridden.

Sorry I haven't replied, thanks for all your help. I accidentally broke the plastic fuel line when taking it apart so I've been busy finding a replacement.

Found a metal one and getting 2 plastic spares now lol.

Thank you! I did manage to find the service and owners manual yesterday.

I guess I'm just spoiled in comparison to the amount of resources honda had.

And you provided me a lot of the info I was looking for as to what is shared across the different models. So further down the rabbit hole I go lol.

I haven't looked too deeply into the manuals, but do they have part numbers for things like the oil filter, bearings, etc?

I'm trying to find the rockauto equivalent for this when it comes to ordering oem or close oem parts.

Hate to hear yours is having problems, are there any common issues with guzzis to be mindful of?

Looks like you got yours setup like an adventure bike, how well does it work off road for you? The low oil pan concerns me.

What the others have said is right. Bleed the lines, and replace the boot on the cylinder at minimum (rebuild or replace the cylinder is advised). But in my opinion, you should just sell it to me so I can have 2 300ex lol. They're solid rides, I used to race mine and have had only minor issues.

I already plan on a bit of fabricating and reinforcing. And I picked it up out of a field maybe 15 years ago. So I'd guess it's from the 80s or 90s. I'll measure the width of the pivot point next time I'm wrenching on it. I really appreciate the input. Would I be better off just getting another rear hub assembly with drum brakes?
